Spacious room and a really quiet place. Breakfast was very good and restaurant served decent food. We especially liked that sun beds were not only available at the pool, but in the beautiful garden, too. However, what we did not like was people “reserving” suns beds with their towels. And in many cases not showing up. Hotel says they would remove them, but didn’t.

5 great days at The Leaf Oceanside (on a few bookings). Everything went smoothly and their New Year’s eve decoration and set-up around the pool was the best in the area as far as we could tell. Not a great fan of Gala dinners in general but my yearly teen kids loved it. Pools are not large but sufficient (partly due to being split in two - but mostly teens and adults in one of them which works well). Beach close by but given ‘second row’ then no sea breeze at hotel which makes it slightly more hot than a beach front hotels but also fewer insects. The vibe and hotel design outweighted the beach front hotels in my view (maybe aside from a few huts just by the beach at the Nang Thong resort). Lots if Scandinavians at the Leaf hotel (you pick yourself whether this is a plus or a minus 😀). Good buffet breakfast.

Very clean, great amenities, breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and staff were over the top friendly. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is not overcrowded and has tons of little restaurants. The pool area is small but beautiful and the resort is walking distance to shops and restaurants on main drag. Our only not so great experience was the food at their on site at their little restaurant (outside of breakfast). We tried a few times and just not good. But again you are so close to so many great restaurants this would not impact returning. Thank you to the staff for a great 10 day stay!

Had a great stay here. Villas are very nice and clean, staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was pretty good, with a range of foods available. Overall very pleasant stay was nice seeing the Forrest from our balcony and the occasional lizard crossing the grounds

This is 4th stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and nice big room and awesome swimming pools also in great location near beach and new night market called Alive Market Excellent

Everything works at the Leaf Oceanside. Hotel grounds are private and there is enough space / sun chairs for everyone. Breakfast area is somewhat crowded at times and should be rearranged as currently the line to egg/bacon cook blocks access to most of the bufee dishes as well. Hotel is well located for a beach/relax holiday. Beach is just across the street and there are plenty of (other hotels') restaurants along the beach. There are also some inland restaurants like Running Deer nearby. To visit markets or temples you'll need a taxi which can always be caught by the hotel entrance. You should negotiate the price as the first offer is always overpriced.

Love this hotel! It’s quiet and serene here. Staff is lovely every day, rooms are spacious and so clean. Love that the beach is so near and if you’d like to go to the shops and restaurants it’s only a 15 minute walk.

The hotel is very nice. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Khao Lak is beautiful. Go see the sun-set on the beach 2 minuts walk from the hotel.

Had wished I could stay another night. Would prefer to have contact details listed in the room so that I could call down to the front desk or other services

Nice hotel in a good location. My only criticism is the pool area and the need to go via the restaurant to access the accommodation. The pool only has vertical ladders to enter/exit it. Guests who less agile cannot easily enter/exit the pool. Roman steps in one area of the pool would easily resolve this issue. Access to the accommodation from the reception area is via the open plan restaurant, which means that all luggage has to go via the same route. It reminds me somewhat of hotels in Vegas where you have to go via the casino with your cases to get to the rooms.

Lovely hotel in good location. Close to the beach and good restaurants and shopping. Beach was beautiful.
