The room itself was spacious, clean and more than I expected for a hotel in this small town.
The hotel was under construction for remodeling, so the parking situation wasn’t great. Needs more cameras and lighting in the parking lot.

This had such good reviews on Expedia, I was shocked by the state of the property - either some of these reviews are not real or people have pretty low standards. First, it's not okay to not tell people when the hotel is under major construction. We would have chosen another hotel - services were limited here. Second, and outside of the construction issues, we had to stay on the only floor not being worked on, and I can say the construction is about two decades overdue. Our room was spacious but really old, the hallway smelled bad, people were clearly smoking on a nonsmoking floor, the carpet was dirty, things in our room were broken or repaired badly, and it was overall not worth what we paid to stay there. I will say that I would have given it a worse review if the people working there weren't so nice. All the staff we encountered were great, and here's hoping the upgrades in progress are significant.
