Absolutely the most demeaning check-in by Matilda in all my years of travel. I thought I had made a reservation online but was told it was not there. I then said I would like to reserve a room. She told me that “we are completely sold out”. So we went outside and I looked on the website and it showed plenty of rooms. I did another booking and walked back in and showed it to her. She was then very rude and condescending and said there were no rooms ready until 3, which was fine by us. I talked to housekeeping later and they said there were plenty of rooms empty because the season was over.
Everything about the hotel was outstanding but with people like Matilda as your first impression, it definitely makes it hard to enjoy your stay.

1 week in this beautiful hotel, right next to the coast. Fantastic views of the coastline, quick walk to a broad selection of restaurants, great gardens and pool onsite.

Terrble experience. In the first apartment, the air conditioning didn't work. the second apartment ok, but the next day, the air stopped working, the safe went out and the phone stopped working. Detail, there was no maintenance team as it was Sunday. Another room was offered, when the air conditioning was also not working. At that point, we decided to move forward with our departure this evening and we were tired. We went to another hotel. Detail, there was only one employee at reception, who could not even return the fees paid in advance.
Anyway, we had stress and loss due to a daily rate that was paid at another hotel and the 12 euro fees that were not refunded at checkout. Serious problem with the administration of this hotel. The few employees are attentive, but do little to resolve problems.

Terrible stay. We checked in to a Junior suite that we upgraded to and during check in, we were told breakfast was included. The room itself was nice but the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are lumpy and hurt your neck. We woke in the morning to golf and when we walked into the breakfast, we were told it was not included. They made us stand at the front while they called different people to check and we were told we’d have to pay as it wasn’t included. We upgraded to a suite so to be told it wasn’t included was absolutely ridiculous. After golf, we went back to the hotel at 4pm and our room hadn’t been cleaned. We saw housekeeping in the hall and she said she’d get to it next so we went to the pool. There were dirty glasses all over the chairs, tables, food plates, and garbage all over the grounds. We ordered 2 iced coffees from the bar inside, bartender told us he would bring them to our pool chairs. About 45 minutes later, we still hadn’t received them despite seeing everyone else around the pool getting their drinks. I went inside and asked where they were and he apologized so I told him to cancel them and asked for 2 cups with ice so I could go up to my room to make iced coffee drinks myself. When we went back to the room, housekeeping left us only decaf coffee. I called the front desk and asked if we could have non-decaf pods and they told us they ran out of stock and that we’d have to call room service to PAY for coffee. Horrible “4 star” hotel.

Decided to go downstairs to enquire there whilst was speaking to another staff another staff abruptly say housekeeping is still 6pm rudely. Staff is super friendly. Great view of the coast. 5 Euro Uber to center of Cascáis. There is a train there that can take you into Lisbon for 2,9 euros. Loved this part of my trip, and this hotel.

This hotel is in an excellent location for all places of interest in the area. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. It was my first visit to Lisbon and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Absolutely loved staying here. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. It is the perfect spot if you want to spend some time in Lisbon but don’t want to be around the hectic night life.
The resort is super clean and parking is everywhere. The only thing is the smell of the air freshener they use on the hallways. It is very strong and really doesn’t smell good.
