We had to clean most surfaces as were grimy with food spills/crumbs and greasy. Utensils, crockery had to be washed eg. Cups had ‘tide’ marks, crumbs on chairs, cotton buds under sofa cushions, bin lid filthy. If the room was properly cleaned we would have rated it higher but as a positive the bed was comfortable.

After searching for hotels in Gladstone we chose Highpoint for the pool which looked nice and big on the website, and for onsite restaurant. The cooktop was very dirty and not cleaned. And the floor and lounge were disgusting. My clothes, feet and socks were all black and stained from walking around on the filthy carpet and sitting on the couch.

The staff were lovely and easy to deal with, unfortunately our room was not clean when we checked in, once we notified front reception they sent someone to fix it.

It was centrally located the parking was convenient and the staff where welcoming but we had a room facing Coondoon St and the noise from cars going down the street was very loud and the herd of elephant's above us didnt help.

The beds were very comfy and the staff helpful. I found the water pressure to be very poor and the kitchen was not very practical (eg no easily accessible power point to plug the kettle or microwave in)

The staff on reception were very helpful. Unfortunately the room itself smelt very musty. I understand it is not a new building however it definitely needs either a proper carpet clean or replacement. A but much to expect this to be acceptable.

Very large apartment. The living area has been modernised in recent times, but the bathroom and bedroom have not received the same attention, though both were clean and comfortable. Full size fridge was a bonus. We didn't use the cooking facilities as we ate out. Good location in the heart of the city and walking distance to the East Shores redevelopment.

Little bit aging. Needs abit of a renovation. Location excellent everything nearby within walking distance. The Manager was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
