This place needs tons of up keep. The hotel room stinks and has rugs which is super impractical for a beach hotel. The beds are super uncomfortable. The bathroom was very unkept and smelly. Overall bad experience but the beach was beautiful.

The staff were extremely friendly! We were surprised by how nice the inside of the rooms are and really enjoyed being able to walk right out to the beach!

Fairly standard motel by the seashore with a decent view. The atmosphere is hospitable, provides easy access to the beach as well as a pool. Perfectly livable with clean towels, though there is some very apparent wear-and-tear suggesting the property isn't maintained very often.

Stairs were very narrow, no dishes or silverware. Why have a microwave and refrigerator without them. had to ask for more towels every day. there was four of us in a two bedroom. When we turned in towels to be replaced, they only gave us 2 on one day and only 3 on next day. Should have gotten same amount they picked up. Had to ask for more both times. For the price, I was disapointed. DO NOT recommend.

The location is amazing! right on the beach. The room was clean. Bathroom needs exhaust fan. The walkways and stairwells were dirty with bird droppings, cigarette butts and garbage. Daily hosing and sweeping should be done. I would gladly pay a little more to have a clean place too bad management doesn't do this.

The owner was lovely. The location was amazing. For our family, it wasn't as clean as we would like and the room was filled with smoke from the outside smokers.

Check in and check out were very quick and simple. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was clean. Room was as described. Stove was very touchy and did not heat right.

Arrived at the property to check in to be told our reservation was not available. Apparently someone from Expedia had tried to call me that morning but did not leave a message. There was no indication in my Expedia App that there was an issue. The motel worked hard to find a new place for us to stay, but it was in another town and not across the street from family we were vacationing with. Expedia did not properly compensate for any of the issues they caused by initially over booking the hotel and showing they in no way cared about reaching out to us ahead of time to fix the issue.

Oceanfront hotels always have a lot of wear and tear, but if you can overlook that aspect this is a great place to stay. Super convenient to the beach, and the pool was small but excellent. Within walking distance of the free to walk on pier and several restaurants. We will definitely stay again when we come back.

It was a wonderful day at this hotel. I do wish I knew it was no silverware or plates but overall, it was a great trip.

We've stayed at a few different beach locations and this spot at least gave true ocean view when advertised - not a side of building balcony where you can lean over and see some of the beach. Kure Beach in general seems to be more of a low-key slower paced area as compared to somewhere like Myrtle Beach. Overall, for the price I think the stay was worth what was paid but we will probably look at a nicer property in a more active area for our next trip.

The staff is really friendly and will do anything to make the stay comfortable for you.
The only complaint is that the A/C is a window unit and is very loud. Makes sleeping challenging when it’s turning on / off all night long.
