The accomodations where not quite as expected. Front desk is across the Major street from the resort.. We expected a kitchen but apparrently the room description was not clear that you either had a balcony view or a kitchen. so we had a view no kitchen. there was no table of any kind to eat on, unless we ate outside on the balcony, however the weather did not permit that. The pillows on the king size bed were terrible 2 pillows each smaller than standard size and so flat it was like having none. We did no use the pullout couch however if we had to use it there would have been no way for one of the king size bed people to get around without climbing over somebody.
Lovely Jacuzzi shower was a small stall. It is also the first place that asked me, on the checkout list, to bring our own trash to the dumpster! Dishes and glasses where provided with microwave. dishes had to be done in the bathroom sink.

We spent the weekend to check out the foliage and explore the area. We really just needed a place to sleep so we weren’t looking for much but the room in Zurich could use some TLC. The green carpets with visible cuts weren’t expected, there are a few soft spots in the floor, the fire place doesn’t work, the floors and walls are paper thin as we could hear everything going on with the people down stairs. The jacuzzi tub stopper doesn’t hold so we had to keep filling it up. Again, we just needed a place to sleep but liked that it had extra amenities however those extra amenities weren’t much of use. Not to the fault of the business but the internet got taken out by high winds during our first day there and never came back on and cell service is almost non existent so that was a struggle also. We would definitely stay again, maybe a different room or hopefully they update/fix that room. The views are amazing, the staff was friendly, the property is gorgeous and hopefully we come back and have more time to explore the entire property!

We stay for a night and drive up to Mt. Washington. The resort is super close to the toll house - which is important for us.
We didn't use the pool, so not sure about it, the hot tub in the room is great! Other than that, the room is generally old, some of the closet doors cannot be properly closed. Carpet seems a bit dirty... but it's a place we would like to hang out with friends if we ever come to Mt. Washington again.

Dreadful. The rooms were poorly set up with a king size bed in the main living area, a slippery tub/shower set up, a door to the balcony that was locked on the inside and resulted in one of our party being locked outside on the balcony. It was depressing and we only stayed for one night of our two night prepaid reservation.

We went to Nordic because of the view from the private deck in the fall. We found the room very clean and staff was very friendly. Would book again.

Stayed in a chateau. Beautiful setting and views with a gorgeous private pool. Rooms are spacious and we'll appointed although a little dated. Might be time for a renovation but that said, very clean and comfortable. We'd definitely go back.

This was my family's first stay at Nordic Village Resort but it will not be our last. This is a beautiful, family-friendly resort close to several area attractions.
PROS:
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff
Well-equipped condos (our one bedroom unit included a full kitchen with all the essentials, two TV's, two DVD players, a heat pump with ice cold A/C, and a large, jetted jacuzzi tub)
Tons of fun activities on-site, including a beautiful pool area (indoor and outdoor pools/hot tubs), row boats, games room, basketball net, and tennis court. There are even sheep that you can feed!
CONS:
Lack of sound-proofing between condo units. As a result, we heard every footstep in the unit above us, which unfortunately began at 6:15am with several children running around. This continued for hours. In fairness, I dont think this would have been a big deal had the children been instructed not to run/stomp, and I don't blame Nordic Village Resorts for this; it was only a minor inconvenience, and as a parent of young children, I get it!
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well-equipped, fairly priced, and family friendly place to stay, I would encourage you to give this place a shot. My family can't wait to come back!

While at first I was upset our two rooms were in different buildings I realized this resort is more like apartments and we were fairly close to one another.
Very roomy, great for the price, near to Storyland. Loved having a dining room, brought supper to heat in microwave which worked out great. Did not know we had to remove our own trash and the lid on the dumpster was very heavy!
Clubhouse was a bit dated with pool and ping pong; my grown daughter who was with me loved the sauna, grandkids enjoyed the pool.
Nice and quiet. Would stay again.

The accommodations were great, the staff very responsive when we had an issue, and the location ideal for our multi-generation trip to StoryLand. We hope to return for a longer visit!

The resort perks are several great pools, and hot tubs, spacious suites with amenities needed.
The condo space itself was mildew smelling. I deducted my only star for that, it took time to adjust to the smell. I liked that our unit had a washer/dryer but would love to see one -two tide pods included for their use. Mini fried needed to be defrosted, things in the freezer did not stay frozen.
Beds were comfy, small single size shampoo/soaps included and dish soap and fresh sponge provided.
Bathtub plug wouldn’t go down so shower was the only option. It was a great spot but a little pricey for what is needing to be updated, refreshed. That said, we would consider staying again.
Our pull out couch was two twins inside with about a 1 foot gap between the two mattresses. Spare sheets were meant for a queen bed, we made it work but this should be considered.

This place was ok! I will start with the pros: very close proximity to storyland and other nearby attractions. Also close to a few great restaurants. It was overall secluded and nice property grounds. The unit was big with outdoor slider access. Fireplace is a nice touch.
Cons: Our unit was very dated, the rug and the couch in the living room were definitely at their end of life based on stains etc. For the price, these should be updated! I didn’t mind the dated kitchen, it was more the musk from the old furniture. I found myself not even wanting to sit on it. There were throw pillows on the bed that were also stained. These are small details, so it had me doubting the overall cleanliness of the unit. It wasn’t a cheap weekend, I think they need to overhaul some of their units.
I would probably check out another hotel in the area next time.

You are perfect distance to North Conway without all its craziness and traffic. Plenty of places to eat and drink close by. The resort itself has plenty for your littles to do but depending on which room you have you may need to drive to the pills that are located at the front of the resort which with little kids can be a pain. The pills are small but having 3 with 1 only 3 feet is great for little kids. All the pills are small so sometimes it felt right in the pool. They have boats to row which my kids got a kick out of and a playground and plenty of places to go for a walk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a nice experience

Our room was huge, with a Mountain View and very quiet. Saw mama bear and her three cubs in the morning! Very small kitchenette but enough for what we needed. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Room was very dated but comfortable. Washer dryer combo in room. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Several pools on site along with a game room, fire pit and playground for the kids. Staff was very helpful when needed.
