Overall hotel. Not well maintained. AC did not work well

I have to say we were disappointed. At first we were impressed with the lobby & reception area which looked modern, clean & a friendly welcome. But then it started to go downhill. Firstly we got bitten loads by some insect as soon as we entered the pool area. Then we had lunch at the restaurant where the lady serving us was coughing constantly while serving our food and drink. Although she was wearing a mask, personally we felt that if you're serving food and have a cough that bad, perhaps you shouldn't be working until you feel better. We then went to our room. Looked clean and pleasant enough at first sight but then after trying to sleep in there we discovered the air conditioning wasn't strong enough to cool the room down to a comfortable level. Then an awful smell started to come from the bathroom (it wasn't us) and finally we woke up with more insect bites. I complained to the reception staff who were very apologetic and put us in another room and gave us 4 free drinks to apologise for the inconvenience. The new room didn't smell & the air conditioning was stronger but we still were bitten again by something. Therefore overall not a great stay at all and left disappointed for a stay at a Novotel hotel.

Amazing hotel and facilities. Only downside was it was a little further out so we had to get taxis to beach and restaurants etc.This did not affect our stay at all though.

Great for family!

Great for a short stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern and with all necessary amenities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. I would recommend to stay here if you are spending a day or 2 in Barcelona and like to be near the airport. A bit far from the city center but well worth the price.

Great for family!

We picked this hotel as we had a very early flight and this is a simple 10 minute transfer to the Terminal in a taxi. Staff were very friendly, helpful and nice. The main reception, bar and pool are modern and well kept. Our room was on the second floor, on leaving the lifts there was a distinct fusty smell. What I can only describe as cleaning products mixed with old cigarettes. Not particularly pleasant. The family room was ok, small but clean. Double bed with fold out sofa bed. Bit of a squeeze when we were all in the room, but we were only sleeping in the room for 6 hrs. If you were staying there for more than a day you’d need 2 rooms for a family with tweens or older. The shower cubicle was tiny and an unhinged door meant that you have to squeeze against the wall to get the door to shut, not something I want to do at a hotel. I’m a fairly small/average sized man, medium or small in most clothes. If you were bigger you’d have to leave the door open or squeegee yourself with the door to close. For a 4* hotel I’d prefer ceramic cups rather than paper takeout cups for hot drinks in room.

Simply amazing for families - they had tons of activities - the bar is reasonably priced - there are good restaurants nearby to go out and eat plus the staff is eager to play with kids and has games and toys ready.

My family really enjoyed staying here and the use of the pool. Staff really lovely, bedroom lovely, Breakfast great, and great location to get the underground. Would recommend for families with kids.

This is not your typical hotel. The design in the reception area is modern and shows the different activities you can do. It has the longest foosball table I’ve ever seen and has a kids area. It has nearby grocery where you can buy your necessities. While checking in, I had a problem with my reservation but the hotel staff was very patient and really helpful, especially Nicolas. I really appreciate them.

This property is located close to the airport so ideal for an overnight stay before a flight. On the pros side: the breakfast is amazing and very well done, the common areas and lounge areas by the lobby are perfect for relaxing. Cons: the actual room needs an upgrade especially the bathroom. Ideal for short stays.

Good but not great. Bathroom shower did not drain and the safe did not work. Room was otherwise good. Front desk needs more staff as there are a lot of guests coming and going. Breakfast was good.

This hotel had a very unique atmosphere that just didn’t vibe with my family. It’s very quirky and fun. The pool is very deep with no life guard and wasn’t checked for chemicals often. The dinner menu was limited. The rib eye was delicious but had a lot of gristle. The room was clean, but the overall hotel felt dingy and dirty. Hotel corridor lights were off in the evening and not motion sensor so didn’t turn on even when you walked through. Onsite parking was a major plus. Staff was great.
