You would think it be busy traffic noise BUT no it was pretty muich silence outside. The staff is always nice and anytime i had a question ring ring and front desk would answer. Dont have a lot to say but every time i stay ...i stay at that MOTEL 6 !!

Let's start by making it clear - I have had a positive experience and would not hesitate to stay at this Motel 6 again. The staff was gracious, helpful and forthcoming. The room was clean and organized well. for an under $100 stay for one night in Rancho Cordova, I more than got my money's worth. Some things to be aware though: The rooms are very lightly furnished even for Motel 6 standards - my room had no way to heat water for coffee, neither a coffee machine nor a microwave. There was a bath but there was no way to plug it so while I could take a shower, I couldn't take a bath. The one big detractor is the area. It seemed to be permeated with the smell of cannabis smoke, both around the motel and in the surrounding area - not the fault of the motel in any way but something to be aware of.

Our stay was fine. Besides the electrical issue we were having in the room. We could not use the iron or hair dryer it kept tripping the breaker, and it was frustrating as we were trying to get ready for my nieces wedding. I honestly think we should be refunded or get half off at least. Electrical hazards should be taken serious and hopefully they were addressed.

Staff was friendly but not a good Motel 6 in my opinion. The high star reviews have to be fake. Room smelled like dog and floor was filthy. The dog smell is burned into my nostrils. Hard, lumpy bed and two of the three pillows were lumpy beyond comprehension. There was the usual cheap motel shady activity in the back of the property but my room faced the front so no problem with that. Stayed two nights but no room keeping during the stay. Unfortunate for the cleaning staff because I had left a decent tip in the room hoping for some good cleaning service. I was surprised to see the money still there and room dirty upon my evening return to the room. I regretfully have to say I will not stay here again. I have to shake my head thinking about this place. On the upside, the plumbing and air conditioning were in good working order. “Pets stay free” advertisement on the sign. If you have dogs it seems to be a dog friendly location . I would recommend this place to dog owners.
