The days we spent in the hotel were disturbing and not worth the price paid for it. The room was not as per request the blame was placed on Expedia while the front office was not able to provide explanation the reason why we have been put in a different room. Lot of mistakes were done by the staff. The unit was overprice being a 1 star hotel at best. Ew will never book a hotel through Expedia or visit an inn where the price is noted as a hotel.

Amazing location in beautiful Sechelt! Ocean walk right outside the Driftwood! Ocean water clean for swimming or paddling. Rocky beach so bring your water shoes! Shopping and various dining options just a few blocks away. This location is a little piece of heaven!

This probably won’t get posted but I feel the need to warn others/provide feedback to encourage change by hotel. I checked in, viewed my room and immediately booked an alternate hotel. The manager refused to refund (as communicated to me through the kind front desk lady). I will preface this with, I am not a princess, I’ve stayed in some less than ideal hotels but this was beyond what I was willing to sleep in. This is my first poor review of a hotel in my 45 years of travelling. Hotel room smelled like urine, stained bedding, stained chairs, broken curtains, flickering lights and bathroom light bulb had a nice to touch it to make it work (faulty electrical?), filthy, booger on the wall (yes you read that right), bathroom mirror had I don’t know what on it but it was hard to see through. I took several photos which I’ll share on trip advisor. It was not up to basic cleanliness standards. Until these reviews are taken seriously by management the situation will not improve.

The proximity to the ocean and the path along it was great. The proprietor was very nice. Room comfortable and clean. All in all , very good. Thank you for a pleasant stay

Location is great, beach is directly nearby, and gener area around the hotel is gorgeous but the hotel is in poor condition. Feels like the building is ready to be torn down but is still operating until the last minute.

The staff was pleasant. Older motel however it reflected that they have done a few upgrades and improvements. They were near the walking path along the water which was scenic.
