There is a heavily trafficked road nearby which causes some noise in the nighttime. The room airconditioning worked perfectly during hot summer nights and the shower water was warm. They have a nice recycling system on every floor. The breakfast was excellent. They charge a city tax, which apparently was not included in the pre-payment although it was supposed to cover all taxes, but I guess it is a rule from the government and not the hotel policy.

We booked 2 nights at this hotel for the start of our round trip of Sardinia. It was of convenient distance from the airport and easy access to the highway which was important to us. Limited free parking was available within short walking distance. Email queries prior to arrival were answered promptly. Staff seemed friendly and helpful, yes it's true the hotel has obviously been around for a while but it was still very charming, absolutely clean and well maintained, it was comfortable for a 2 night stay. We had a 2 night stay in a standard double room, and found the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to reach from the airport, well situated near the historic city center of Olbia, but our room was facing the main road so quite loud at night. The room size was good, bathroom slightly small. The furniture was old fashioned and had definitely seen better days, but overall clean. Our main critique would definitely have to be the breakfast which is totally unacceptable given the hotel room rates! Only one hot beverage per guest, stale breakfast buns, sandwich cheese slices (in glorious cheese land Italy!), ham, some cereal, yoghurt, sweet tarte and croissants - served in plastic one use plates and cups! Considering the price and comfort we would unlikely recommend it.

Great hotel location, just one block from the center of town. Nice entrance and very friendly staff that spoke English. Only downside is that shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer are not provided.

Having stayed in Olbia twice recently once in the Jazz hotel and this time in the De Palm I would recommend the De Palm as the better choice, only 10 minutes from the Airport by Taxi, very friendly staff and convenient location. Restaurant was good with helpful staff as was the bar. Hotel decor may be a little dated but all clean and comfortable.
