We were surprised with a $150 non-refundable pet cleaning fee upon check in. All floors in our villa were tile except for the bedroom. The carpet in the bedroom had numerous large pet stains throughout the room. The pet fee is supposed to be a cleaning fee, however, it is obvious they did not clean the in pet stains in the villa they rented to us. It was not possible for housekeeping to miss seeing the stains. There were numerous spots that very clearly occurred over an extended period of time. Also, you must bring your own potty pick-up bags, as they don't provide those either. Our villa didn't have a tub as advertised. There are amenities on the property, but you have to drive to get to any of them. Restaurant was closed the entire time we were there, as well. Poor experience.

The place was very clean and in a good location. Bed was comfortable, but you can hear the people in other rooms beside you and above you walking and shutting doors. We did not have a window to look out of in the living room area, and no place to relax on deck because it was a walkway for everyone.

I got my reservationsoff ofhotel.com was supposed to have a room with a fireplace when I got there. I had a king size bed, no fireplace and it was handicap and I did not request handicap. Also, when we told the receptionist, my husband told her we was not happy. She said she didn’t care if we came back or stay at the hotel.com doesn’t give rooms with fireplaces, which is a lie. I went back on and showed it to them. Nothing never got resolved but me paying for extra and not receiving what I paid for.

It was good would go back. Quiet area, clean rooms. There were several amenities but check out was really early so was unable to use most.

Bait and switch by Hotels.com. Clicked on a link on Hotels.com and showed a villia and said last one available. Booked what we thought was a villa with a view. Totola price was just over 600.00 for 3 nights. When we checked in got charged another 200.00 150.00 non refundable pet charge for a 4lb dog and another 50.00 incase something got broke in the room. When we got to our room it waz not what we clicked on the website it was a very small room with only one window in the bedroom. Bed was like sleeping on concrete. Hotel.com should be reported to the Attorney Generals office for the Bait &Switch. Never book with Hotels.com

A very nice experience for the first time visiting Brandon. Westgate was more than I or my wife excepted. Excellent atmosphere and we felt very safe while on the premises.

We had one bathroom towel to share, the room was very dark with 2 small lamps for lighting. And the floors were very crooked.

Everyone was super friendly until the manager-she was extremely rude. I was asking about the pet policy because I couldn’t find it on the website and it’s $150 non refundable deposit-just call it a charge! She just kept saying it’s on the website. No apology for not being able to find it or offering to help me find it. I had my phone out trying to find it and wasn’t ever able to. Would not stay again simply because of that experience.

Check in Judy was very nice. Got to the room. The AC was not cooling in the room off. Blood on the sheets. And the blinds wouldn’t close. The room was very dated and worn out. Spoke with Brooke front desk supervisor she was very rude and unpleasant, they did give us a second room. It was infested with Nats. And booked to the additional night in a new room had hair all over the bathroom toilet like hunters of hair not just a couple. The blind wouldn’t close all the way so you could see right in the room. The AC controls I believe was in the joining room. The AC was loud as hell. And the people had the AC super cold, supposedly got a refund for that last night. I didn’t stay in the room but maybe 30 minutes because it was so awful. Haven’t got the refund yet Keegan deal with him twice and he was super nice and professional. I believe her name was Judy that checked in and Keegan they were exceptional. The rooms were garbage. Brooke was was very rude and awful , I don’t know how she’s a manager. We should not sell those rooms because you were putting a name on yourself.

Some of the facilities were under construction at the time of stay and the reason for the lesser rating in some categories.

Place was great for the most part.. my only complaint would be the amount of skunks I saw on the property.

I like it almost all . Only the convenient center for kids was Poor and in the pool needs more for little ones !!

What i didnt like was being unexpectedly pressured into A timeshare. Was told to go for breakfast and a complementary hundred dollar gift card and was pressured into trying to buy a timeshare. Other than that, I was pretty pleased with my stay

Room smelled moldy. Air conditioner filter was black. Property was dirty. Housekeeping walked past trash sitting outside our room our entire stay. Bugs crawling around in the sink. Very noisy, someone walked by you could hear everything. We did inform staff while we were there. I’ve stayed at much better hotels for a lot cheaper. For a resort I was very disappointed. I’ll be staying at Marriott or Holiday Inn next time. Or even one of the cheaper resorts in town but will not be returning to this one. The cabins might have been better but we were put in the hotel portion of the property. The property was in a great location. Just needed some love. Staff was super friendly on check in and when we would interact. I tried to cancel but could not since we booked through Expedia lesson learned pay the few extra dollars and book with resort itself.
