We enjoyed staying here! It was not very crowded, which was a plus for us. Though we did not use them, the indoor pool and exercise room looked wonderful. We did take advantage of the Happy Hour and spectacular views of the lake.

Beware of “lakeside” room. Yes, you may be facing the lake but what they fail to tell you is that there may be a build in between your room and the lake. Then when bringing up the extra charges for a premium room, you will be treated as if you were the unintelligent one that didn’t read. Manager somehow felt that SHE was the victim. The motel is not very well maintained either. My room smelled as if it was heavily smoked in at one time and something was done to cover up the smell, almost. I could go on and on about the this motel is failing to provide the quality rooms as it presents in the description, but I’m out of characters to leave a longer review.

She let us check a different room with pillow top beds & made the room switch extremely easy!! It was very old and the bathroom was very small and out dated. Reminded me of a ran down Super 8 back in the day. Had a mildew smell. We had previously stayed in the area to see our son who lives in the area.

The trip was fine, it was Hotels.com that ruined our 41 Anniversary by getting double charged for the room! I’ll never use this site again! Cost me $225 for a $110 room. Yeah I might have needed MY $115 for our Anniversary!!! THANKS!!!!

Great atmosphere along the lake. The staff was great and the room was a little outdated but nothing to really worry about. The Encore restaurant what fantastic along with the staff and enjoyed the music

I highly recommend staying in the townhouse option if you can. I love the room there, the air conditioner is completely adjustable, I love the tall ceilings it just feels so much more open than the regular rooms. I stay here often for business and will say the regular rooms are good too, but the townhouse is definitely lux!

Our deepest thanks to the staff. The place was a showcase for The Bikeweek. We met fellow riders who were in agreement. I would recommend The Resort to anyone who appreciates excellent service. The Encore had great food,drinks and entertainment.

Broken coffee machine in room. Not enough staff to bring a replacement. Floor was dirty in room. Loud up all night neighbors in the next room. Staff at bar told us they would have the college football game we wanted and when game time arrives no game. Overall a bad experience.

My wife and I went down to the Lake of the Ozarks for a short get away. This is the first time we have stayed at The Resort. The team and the Resort were great. Service was outstanding. When we first pulled into the property we were abit under-whelmed, but after we checked in and went to our room, everything that we had read on the other Expedia reviews was true. Clean, up-dated rooms. Comfortable bed. Plenty of amenities. All at a great price point! We will definitely be back.

B'fast was very good. Nice room, but bathroom door would not close--old/dated, in need of repair. Thought it would be more convenient to walking the marina and shops; either not really accessible.

I travel quite often to this location for work and always stay here. The staff is friendly, it is in a good central location and love the pillows and sheets.

The beach house was nice! There were people upstairs that were super loud and that never went to sleep. I would say at least 10 people and there should’ve only been two people in that room. Everything else was nice, the picture and the website is misleading, as there is no entrance to the lake And the beds were rock-hard it almost felt like there was something flat and hard under a half inch mattress. I typically like a firm mattress, but this was terrible. I could barely move the next day.
