We had an awesome two night stay. Very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated accommodation. The rainshower head was lovely and excellent water pressure with great amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, shower wash made for a relaxing stay along with the usual amenities around the sink, even including shaving cream and toothbrush although the bed just a tad hard but pillows were comfy for a good nights sleep. The road noise didn't bother us, we quite enjoyed the bird song in the morning too. TV good picture and sound that has the features of your favourite shows. Usual tea/coffee/sugar/milk supplies and a couple of packets of wrapped bikkies to enjoy and surprise gift of slippers although we didn't use them. We did opt for a continental breakfast one morning which was a reasonable price and promptly delivered the night before. The fridge wasn't loud at all which was wonderful. We didn't use the BBQ facility in the seating area but it's an option. Hotel so close to the centre of town, shops, restaurants, pool, cafes, information centre, parks and Cooma Cottage etc. We would stay here again next time we're visiting this beautiful town.

Good size room, nice firm bed, fully modernised bathroom. Basic crockery for overnight stay but hosts happy to provide extras if required (eg teapot).

Staff were really lovely to deal with, they let us check in early when we arrived in town earlier than expected. The rooms just feel overdue for an update. We saw some other rooms downstairs when we were leaving which appear to have been updated so hopefully they will be soon.

Two story'd building. Inconvenient for parly disabled partner.
Too many phone calls about forgetting to leave the key on checkout, then we sent it back via express post!

Surprised for a small hotel it has a good range of toiletries and even plunger coffee. Staff was efficient and helpful. Will stay again if we need a room in Yass

Good overnight stay. Well fitted out . Toaster, Microwave, etc. Can be a bit noisy in the early evening and morning from the road, but okay night. Can recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Colonial Lodge, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We didn't like being near the main road, it was noisy at times. We also didn't like the outside light streaming in over the curtains but apart from those things it was great 👍.
