I booked this hotel for a stay with my sister, and would not recommend it at all. First of all, they don’t have hand towels, they are supposedly environmental friendly, but when you ask for hand towels, you are ask to use the little paper box with paper towels in it. On the second day, we got home to our room, with the beds being made, but we were missing bath towels, towel for the bathroom floor and even though we made them aware that there was no hand soap nor shampoo left, none of that where to be found. When we called the front desk and told about the situation, they didn’t believe us and the supervisor came to the room to inspect it before we were allowed towels and soap, they walked in with shoes on, and the bathroom was one messy mud hole when they left. On the third day, we left the hotel in the morning, and where out sightseeing until the late evening, and was met with an untouched room, beds not being made, no towels or water. They did not even apologize for the inconvenience, and told us housekeeping would come shortly, 30 mins later we called again to inquire about the housekeeping that hadn’t appeared yet. They came at last, and once again no apology for the inconvenience. All in all, terrible service, and very very mediocre breakfast. Would definitely never book a stay with them again.

Good location. The lack of alcoholic beverages is a limitation in an otherwise very good hotel restaturant.

They then re-instated the booking but would only be able to provide a smoking room, which smelled heavily of air freshener on arrival and stunk of smoke by the time we departed. Room was comfortable enough other wise.

Breakfast was good and hotel a 10 minute walk to the Souk. However our non smoking room smelt of smoke and a bed was not provided for our 8 year old son. We were already checking in late and having to call Reception to sort this out when we just wanted to go to bed was not what we needed. We were then brought a cot (for an 8 year old!) so we had to resort to putting some sheets on the sofa and making do.

Hotel is walking distance from my office but felt amazing as weather gets better, felt like a tourist discovering the area. Woke up fresh and excited with clear mind for another day of trials. Love ibis, budget friendly and comfot.

Convenient location to visit places such as Bahrain national museum, old Muharraq, grand mosque, etc. Quiet and clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff were ever attentive. The hotel had a shuttle to the F1 and back. The food was a bit to be desired, it was a a bit repetitive, chicken and Indian food for dinner and Indian for breakfast too. On the whole, good value for money and a pleasant stay.

Outstanding really quite nice hotel placed in diplomatic area no disturbance at night and special thanks to the receptionist Philippines man checked in 10 secs and was very polite
