Such a great place - convenient to town and a beautiful old house. Rooms were spacious and the owners were so kind. They prepared a delicious breakfast.

My girlfriends and I went for an overnight trip to Napa. We found the innkeeper, Amvic, very hospitable and saw to our every need! The room we stayed in, Crush Pad, in the Merlot House exceeded our expectations in terms of value and cleanliness -- it was well laid out and perfect for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable and we all had a restful sleep!
Location was excellent! It was far enough away from the bustle of downtown on a Saturday night, yet merely minutes by foot to all the activity! Seriously, downtown was a 6-minute walk, if that, where we enjoyed shopping, wine tastings, and dinner.
Breakfast in the morning was superb! It hit all the notes! We had fluffy waffles with fruit, yogurt and granola, eggs and sausages. All very tasty and satisfying.

What a gem! The staff is warm and wonderful. The breakfast is fantastic (you walk in and you are served a plate of breakfast... There is no choice and there is no buffet, and it was really good). Check in is super easy and our room (Walk in the Clouds) was quirky and fun. It was actually a suite of two separate rooms, each with king sized beds, and a little game room between them. It would be great for traveling with family (as we did) or friends. I am recommending this place to everyone I know.

Cabarney House was great. It is an old building. The walls aren’t super thick and the stairs creek a bit. However, the service is impeccable. Checkin requires zero work and the breakfast is awesome. The bed was super comfortable. It has a stellar location. It is not fancy. It’s more of an authentic charming experience.
