Filthy room, couldn't stand how bad it smelled and had to leave, didn't stay the night and I checked out as soon as my phone was charged. Had to sleep in my car that night as every other hotel was fully booked or unaffordable. I feel like I got scammed. Booked three nights, stayed for none of them, still cost over $200 with no refund of any kind. Took pictures of the filth to prove I'm not exaggerating or making things up, can post in a Google review of the property so they're available somewhere. Room smelled like cigarette smoke, trash stink and some weird chemical odour. Heavily stained chair in room. Faint white splatter looking stains on the nightstand. Bathroom floor looked like someone had walked around on it with wet dirty shoes. Brownish scum all over the panelling at the bottom of the bathroom walls. Fruit fly buzzing around. Bathroom trash can had an empty garbage bag in it but the bottom of the can itself had all kinds of filth in it, some of it looked like red syrup and rotting food. The foam mattress top I layed out in the back of my car was much more comfortable to lay on than the hard mattress in the room. The top blanket had bits of what appeared to be dried glue crusted into the fabric in places. I assume it was glue since there was pieces of dried glue in the rooms dresser drawers as well. A shirtless man was staring at me in the parking lot and I felt unsafe. Room did not look like the pictures online (Expedia showed it had a bathtub, only had a shower)

Staff was very nice. The room was modern - updated. Foam beds were great! The room was a bit small but there were cupboards - we just didn't need them for our 1 night stay. Overall, would stay there again! It was good. Very accommodating.

Nice stay no frills economical

Was repeatedly reminded that there is no smoking and my deposit would be revoked if caught as I checked in. Didn’t look the room had been cleaned after the previous guest had left. The room itself was very cramped to the point where you couldn’t open end table doors without moving the chair to wheee the door opens.

Clean and affordable. Nice people running the place. I stay here when I’m in Chatham on business and have always been happy.

I will say this. It may look like an average roadside motel but the family that runs this place are over the top. The rooms are cheap but honestly they aren’t too bad. I’ve been here several times. Never a noise complaint and when I have an issue, the owners are happy to help out. Never dirty, never disgusting.

Absolutely inhumane…. From the greeting to the stench… they offered three different rooms that they claimed were upgrades, and each room got worse… took my deposit and left! This place should never be offered to anyone not even for free!!! Nothing like being called a resident while walking out the door. I believe the proper etiquette should have been “guest”. Wouldn’t even make my worst enemy stay here.

There were empty vodka bottles in my cabinet. There was no do not desturb sign so the 'housekeeper' came in to empty the bins and throw the comforter over my pillows, (did not tidy anything). The new provided shampoo bottle was half empty.

We needed overnight lodging but chose not stay at the property at arrival. The light weight looking exterior motel doors made the property not look safe. The property appeared to serve as a rental complex judging by the patio furniture outside the doors. I didn’t check in, so I’m unfamiliar with the rooms interior.

Price convenience I had to attend a meeting and Chatham is a five hour drive from home. I need a motel where I could drive down Saturday afternoon, grab a meal at a nearby restaurant, sleep a few hours and get to the meeting on time. There is nothing fancy here - perfect! Mini fridge, microwave, which I did not need. No coffee maker but usual coffee shops in the area
