We had booked another local 7 plus rated hotel that turned out to be a dive ! Then we had to find a replacement last second when we found Wingate at Wyndham. Great amenities and very pet friendly, facilities were very nice and a much needed place to ease our frustration. Great choice

We stayed 3 nights. Condition was fair at best. Windows had weird shading streaks, bathtub chipped, cheap&ugly linoleum counters & tub surround. But worst part was banging and tapping that started about 7am each morning. Maintenance work? Unsure. The breakfast had a lot of offerings but the cleanliness and overall kind of run down feel of the place didn’t inspire confidence so I just had a banana one day.

We checked into our hotel after 3 am. They said they cancelled our booking through hotels.com and we needed to rebook and repay for the night essentially causing us to pay for the same night twice. When asking the front desk for more info at check out they said we needed to contact to hotels.com. Hotels.com has never replied to our messages about the situation.

What a joke! Last minute booking because our plans changed. I wish we had driven the 180 miles back home instead. We arrived at 10:00PM. The front desk staff was the most disinterested I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not so much as a “Good Evening”.
The room was spartan to say the least. The TV’s HDMI cable was disconnected at the Xfinity box and when connected, no sound (I checked to see if it was on mute). So no evening news or weather.
The mattress was good! But the pillows were small, square and I believe made of concrete. One thin sheet and an equally thin blanket. Vinyl roll flooring was a nice touch.
Then there was the restful ambiance. They were tearing up a nearby parking lot with heavy equipment complete with backup beepers.
5:15AM, the next door neighbors TV came on at a very high volume. Sleeping was out of the question.
At 8AM we decided to try the advertised 6AM to 10AM continental breakfast which apparently had been left on another continent. No waffle batter, but then again, no plate to eat a waffle on or plastic knives to cut a waffle with. No sausage or eggs left either but the hot table was covered in nasty greasy goo! Yuck! The morning desk clerk had vanished (blue dyed hair and all) so we gave up, grabbed a packaged muffin and some O. J., and returned to our room, packed up and left.

The young man that checked us in on October 25 was very helpful. The next morning he was still there trying to get breakfast ready. An employee didn’t show up for work so he had worked all night. Still he was friendly! We would stay there again.

I booked a stay for my wife, and I paid through Hotels.com. The hotel took my wife’s card for “incidentals” but proceeded to charge her for the whole night. They are unwilling to help, giving us the run around about talking to a manager that apparently only works once a month. We called Wyndham’s customer service and they said only the hotel can help us. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing, we probably won’t be using hotels.com or going to a Wyndham hotel again.

Tv did not work in the room. Night staff thought we would be compensated, but could not commit himself… inquired about it several times at front desk.. front desk person gave me the run around several time, said I would get a phone call by manager. Left my number but no call… guess the hotel doesn’t care!!!

Looked like they didn’t clean the sheets, towels had holes in them. The pull out had holes also and strong smell of urine. We went to Walmart and bought everything. Even brought to their attention, still haven’t gotten a response. Our stay a negative Experience.

AC UNIT in living room of suite 204 did not work. Standalone living room light table shorted out when turned on, 4 light bulbs out in bathroom. Really disgusting old year old couch and chairs in living room. Room is in need of new paint.

I was not able to get any extra fresh towels on Sat. All things considered it was do-able but for the price increasing everyday from 103 - 140...Ill be sure to check may reservation closer b4 I book there again; as I thought I was getting the 103 for all nights.

The property is right opposite 3 eating places so was very easy to pop across the road for food. It was also well situated within easy walking distance of several strip malls, Anoka for river walks & Andover for Cinema.
The breakfast however was limited with coffee ranging from Tepid to cold. Food was very limited especially if you went down later than 7am. Had new towels & coffee pods renewed everyday.
The room was ok but fluff & hair on carpet & carpet was not hoovered regularly. No Aircon though I think there was an aircon in the room but wasn't sure if I could turn it on. Took awhile to get the TV to work as no instructions.
Note: The soap bar doesn't need to be replaced with a new one everyday!! This would save you money in the long run especially as you supply with 2 at the start of your stay.
Overall my stay was ok but could have been better especially the breakfast.

Smelled old and musty, did not seem very clean, pool was broken down and told us when we went to go in the pool. We wound up leaving the property and asked for a refund. We went next door.

This property needs a complete renovation. It’s hard to tell if it was simply rundown and neglected or filthy. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. That was the only interaction I had with any staff members.

The front desk was very nice and had an excuse for everything. Breakfast- had to wait for coffe because they only had 2 carafe for regular coffee. No selection, just cereal, some aweful egg supposed omelets. Terrible tater tots and ok sausage and the waffle maker of course. I did have some hpstess donuts. The Room- filthy carpeting, and chairs. Old beat up night stand on 1 side of bed. front desk said they have stuff on order. For a Wingate it was well below what i expected.
