We stayed for a week in Alicante. We chose Dormirdcine Alicante due to the close proximity to the beach (only a 2 minute walk) and that it’s located in old town. We took the C6 bus for a few EUR from the Airport, 5 min walk to the hotel, took 20 mins) Clean with quirky art deco style. We upgraded the first 5 days to a superior room (room 604) with terrace. Would really recommend this. The terrace was great to have in the evenings, it also had sun loungers and a outdoor bathtub. Nice interior, the only downside was that there is very little storage, could easily be fixed by putting in a few hooks on the wall to hang bathrobes etc. Also a few shelves would be great. We also stayed in a much smaller room (105) nice too, just smaller. Nice breakfast, not so much savory to choose from, but excellent quality. We spent most days on the beach (sunbeds 27 EUR for 2) and then we ended up in the rooftop pool to cool off with a super G&T. Lovely bar area with a small pool. Looks bigger on the pictures – but lovely to just sit in and catch some afternoon sun. No kids when we were there – big bonus! All in all a great stay. If we come back to Alicante we would definitely stay her. Alicante is a lovely town. Everyone is so polite, no sleazy sales people, drunken tourists, beggars or stray animals. Loads of excellent restaurants to choose from too. Thank you!

Lovely staff. Perfect location for the bars, beach, restaurants and transport. Room was neat and clean. Great bathroom. Air conditioning until was causing condensation and leaking, we had to put a towel down. Beds were super comfy. Rooftop pool and bar had fab views.

The photos of the pool are deceiving. It's about 1.5 meters wide and 10 meters long. My original room had a non functioning TV. They moved me to an interior room. As it was explained to me, many interior rooms are unable to receive Wi-Fi signals due to the construction of the building. I'll stay at Melia next time

Great boutique style hotel in perfect location. Quiet back street but near lots of restaurants and beach. Small plunge pool on the roof but well laid out terrace with some deck chairs during the day and views across the roof tops and sea. Clean and good rooms. Love the decor! Helpful staff and facilities at the gym to shower if need a later departure No coffee in the room but easy to pop Down in morning to get one from the breakfast dining room. A lovely Nespresso too! Must try the cocktails in the roof bar Cuppola. Would stay again and recommend to others.
