This is a nice hotel in a cute city. We arrived after a long cycle and we’re disappointed that the restaurant was full. Luckily we heading into the town and discovered a fantastic pizza place with so much more character. The room was fine. We appreciated the patio door as we could park our bikes right outside our room. The shower was good. Our one issue was that it didn’t appear that the room had been dusted for a while. The table tops were dusty and when I went to retrieve something that I dropped under the bed….yikes!

Was rather disappointed with the hotel. The room was very ordinary lighting was poor. it Had a badly laid out bathroom. Pleasant but small restaurant with a limited . Breakfast was good nice choices, although breakfast rooms were very crowded and there was lots of queuing. I had expected better after reading the other reviews

A really nice, modern hotel, but in the middle of nowhere. :-) We needed to wait 1 hour for the Check-in, but that was the only problem. We booked the hotel for 1 night, but were allowed to use the Spa even after the Checkout until 11 pm which was really nice! I would recommend the hotel for a short weekend trip (e.g. visiting the Dolfinarium Harderwijk) and its 40 minutes close to Amsterdam, so you don't pay the high tourist prices for hotels when you are a bit outside of the town. On the second night I was told that there were no tables available even though I only needed 30-40 minutes most as a lone traveller. I said that I would happily eat in the bar (even through at the time the restaurant was less than half full) as the bar was all but empty. Apparently the kitchen couldn't cope with one more cover (which I find hard to believe) so as a fully paid guest I was turned away. The only solution offered was to walk into the town centre which is circa 30 minutes away so relatively impractical. Rooms clean, desk service excellent and, the following night, the food good too. Just a shame the second evening was a let-down.

Pleasant surprise! The employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a great deal as is the sauna! A great hidden gem!

We were very pleasantly surprised with how nice the place was. The breakfast is worth getting in your reservation. You will want to set your breakfast reservation in advance. The sauna can be booked in 40 minute increments and is reserved for your own group only. It is included im your reservation and a great way to start and end your day. The employees were all very friendly and helpful.

It's the good hotel. Spa, pool are working. Brekfast was decent. There is the free big parking.

As such the stay was good but the room was only available around 4 p.m. Further, an 11 o'clock check-out is rather early.

Comfortable room with a nice view of the water (although the windows needed cleaning!) Quiet. Nice location for visiting central Amsterdam. Secure parkingb in the garage for bicycles. Breakfast a la carte, nice options and sensible prices.

Although it is ~40lm from AMS airport, it is only 30 min drive. Convenient but quiet place. Breakfast is great too.

While the rooms were very nice, and as a whole staff was courteous, the person at checkin was standoffish. She also said that breakfast wasn't included in our package. The good news is that we weren't charged for breakfast, the bad news is that we chose not to eat breakfast some days due to he high cost. Overall good place in a remote place.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 days each. Our sheets visibly dirty after the first night were not changed and the floor not swept We called the front desk but at 9pm there was no housekeeping staff on duty. The 2nd night the sheets were still not changed even though we had asked for them to be changed. They had one of the waiters come up, after I requested sheets to change them myself, who changed the sheets. He was a great looking Dutch lad, however, it did not help my irritation. The room didn't have any air conditioning or ventilation so you had to open the windows but with no screens that means mosquitos at night. The night tables had a light but visible layer of dust on them. I took a picture of one of them - same in the kid's room. We had 2 coffee pkgs and when those were used they kept replacing them with coffee whitener (perhaps the housekeepers could read neither Dutch nor English, they spoke with a different accent). Our last night there they did not put a spare toilet paper roll in the bathroom - I usually don't look at that but with all the other issues with the room we were checking everything. I'm hoping they did the next day or I feel sorry for the people to have our room next. I'm thankful we brought our disinfectant wipes and cleaned the room when we first arrived.
