The room was totally bare. There was a queen bed and 2 “twin beds” (which my 6’ son did not fit on) one glass credenza with a TV. No chairs, lamps tables etc… the mini fridge barely worked and when we called they said they were all like that, so we had to throw away a bunch of food. The beds were HORRIBLE. It was like sleeping on a boxspring. I have been more comfortable sleeping on a mat while backpacking in the backcountry. Instead of towels for the shower we got robes, which I do not like because I wrap my hair in a towel. The toilette is at an awkward angle and my knees were literally touching the side of the sink when I was sitting on the toilette. The staff were friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability.

The property was comfortable and stylish, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for visiting the ruins and there were lots of places to eat nearby. The option of parking at the Hotel Santa Catarina, and the breakfast there, were also very convenient.
However, the apartment was very noisy. It's a noisy area, with windows overlooking the front of the building. It could really do with double glazing.
There were a few niggles - the air conditioning wasnt working when we first arrived, but a staff member came and sorted it out fairly quickly. There is a kettle, teabags and a Nespreso machine in the room. However, there are no mugs to make tea (only small paper cups), no pods for the coffee machine, and no proper glasses or large cups for water.

Great coffees. Nice clean modern room. It’s a bit expensive to park there, and no elevator to haul your bags up to the third floor.

A bit of good luck found me upgraded to a suite, after something was amiss with the original room I booked. It was an adorable, charming room with more space than I knew what to do with. It had an amazing balcony view of the main street through Pompei and everything I needed was within a couple blocks, including a laundromat. Best of all I was just a block or two away from the entrance to the Pompei ruins.
The staff was super great, friendly and really helpful. My Italian is terrible, though fortunately every member of staff was great with English, so I survived.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a low to mid budget hotel for visiting the Pompei ruins.
I gave the hotel a MINOR ding in my rating over cleanliness, as there was something funky going on in the bathroom. I think the original drain for the toilet may have gotten backed up and there was a nasty smell. BUT they had done their best to clean the bathroom thoroughly and it looked great, bit as time progressed the smell crept in. I wasnt spending that much time in the bathroom and it didnt at all distract from my overall experience.

Room was spacious and spotless, and conveniently located to the ruins at Pompeii as well as the train station that serves the town. What they don't tell you in that email "everything you need to know for your stay," however, is that check in is actually at the Hotel St Caterina, around the corner. It doesn't tell you that at the entrance to the Ravida Suites, either. A sign tells you to telephone the hotel, but no one answers either number. Okay, I figured out to just go there, but it would have been easier and more direct if they'd told me to do so before I arrived. Breakfast is in the Hotel St Caterina, as well, on the roof deck. It's okay, and the servers are really friendly. The room itself was quite nice, but the bed was one of the most uncomfortable (hard) I've ever slept on, with really bad pillows that seemed really old. Considering that all one really does in a hotel is sleep, that's not good. Hot water was erratic -- enough for a shower in the evening, but only available for about one minute in the morning.

Great hotel in the city centre of Pompeii.
The receptionist Daniela is an excellent asset to the hotel, she helped us with everything, even organised for us a trip to Capri and made sure we have everything we need.
Definitely worth staying.

Bit of a strange entrance situation, easy enough to find but odd looking and apparently no lift? Nice stylish room, modern, clean, good a/c, the bathroom could have done with a bit of maintenance work. Staff were great. Very convenient. Good ice cream shop and a nice kids token/rides kinda area nearby (except there is two kind of tokens at that for the outside rides and the inside rides so don't buy too many of one of them) which is where you park. Parking was a bit difficult due to my lack of Italian language skills but managed to sort it out anyway by talking to the guy in the hut near the barriers using google translate app - essentially the parking is super expensive but there is a special rate for the hotel guests you pay in advance in the car park by telling the attendant. There was a fridge and free water in the room and plenty of space. Could maybe have even fitted a nice sofa in there would have been cool. Definitely would stop there again really convenient for access to the ruins (although I couldn't get an audio guide from the entrance that is nearest the hotel so would have been better to walk around to the main entrance and get the audio guide probably; although the amphitheater is near the hotel end entrance and that is really cool and you might not have got that far if starting from the main entrance)

The property is under reconstruction, which we didn't know ahead of time. I also asked for a place with few stairs because we are in our 70s and can't haul bags up stairs easily. I was told there were some stairs, but we would receive help. However, the "help" was a small young woman who checked us in. We carried our bags ourselves... up 35 stairs.
The "front desk" is in a small room on the second floor (third floor in US terms) and was difficult to find. The place is really a mess because of construction. However, the rooms are very nice, clean, large, and comfortable. If the rest of the hotel will be like this on completion, it could earn a better rating.
Negatives --> No phones in the room, so if you need the front desk, you must climb 35 stairs unless you're on the same floor. Also, the desk is open only from 14.00 to 20.00, so if you need anything outside of those hours, you're out of luck. It took several phone calls and texts before we were able to successfully book a second night. Also, the Netflix connection does not work, so we were stuck watching only American news programs.
The young woman at the desk was very nice and helpful, however. I have no problems with her. Only with the hotel operation itself. Free parking is available at the Santa Caterina Hotel just a block away. But that has an elevator, so when we saw it, we thought maybe we should have booked there instead.

Location good. Renovation being carried out on building, so property is work in progress. Receptionist was very helpful but do not think there was anyone there other than upon arrival. Hard to find. Will probably stick to hotels in future

Our stay was amazing! The staff and the room were all outstanding! Great location and it was easy to find!
The only issue we had was that our second night sleep was very disrupted by the noise from the street - there was a lot of car beeping and traffic which was unbelievably loud! The room could also do with a mirror, there was one in the bathroom but none in the bedroom.

Unfortunately, we were not able to stay at this hotel. They were overbooked. They made arrangements for us at a B&B nearby but it was not nearly of comparable quality. I had to give a rating but do not rely on it since we did not stay at this hotel.
