We loved our experience at Accademia 39!! Nadia was so welcoming and helpful to us! The breakfast was delicious and it felt like home! It was our first time in Europe and we had no problems getting around thanks to Nadia! We will be back!

We loved our stay at Accademia39. Beautiful property and perfectly located right in the centre of Sorrento so everything was walkable. Nadia and Mavi were fantastic, helping us to plan our stay before we arrived and offering advice whilst we were staying. Our room was a good size with a view over to the sea and the top of a church. The light buffet style breakfast was perfect for us.

Quite literally the best B&B experience I’ve ever had.. Nadia and Mavi answered all my questions and helped with everything imaginable. Breakfast on the terrace with fresh eggs, pastries, and juice brings a tear to my eye just reliving it. I was able to walk literally everywhere. Surrounded by all the food and shopping you could ever need. I’ve continued my journey, but my heart will remain in Sorrento at Accedmeia 39

Amazing place right in the heart of Sorrento, Service was impeccable and they catered to all the needs and questions we had. The room was fantastic with a lovely view. The patio was amazing and we had a lovely time there reading and sipping on the house limoncello.

Accademia 39 is a special place, and you’ll be very glad you chose to stay here. It’s a former home of opera star Caruso, but that’s not what makes it special… it’s the beautiful decor and staff that welcome you with open arms. To be exact, it was truly a pleasure to meet Mavi, Nadia and Alessandra, the wonderful owner of this Bed and Breakfast, who put her heart and soul into this wonderful bed and breakfast. Everything is immaculate and spotless clean here. Everything! You’re also in the center of Sorrento if you stay in Accademia 39, walking distance to the sea, restaurants, shops and all the sights and sounds this lovely city has to offer. And, if it’s your first time to visit Sorrento Mavi, Nadia and Alessandra will give you superb advice and recommendations. I seldom leave reviews, but I took the time to do so today, because this little spot on earth is almost heaven. I give my strongest recommendations to Accademia 39. ~ Colonel PLS, USAF

Very nice place to stay. Our room was very quiet. The common areas were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Sorrento and the surrounding areas. The train station and ferry terminal are ten minute walk. If you’re arriving via Naples train station, recommend using the ferry between Sorrento and Naples (rather than the local train) if you have luggage.

We stayed here during our honeymoon and would highly recommend to anyone that wants to visit Sorrento! The staff was great, the room was spacious, and the common areas where incredibly cozy and welcoming.

We had a minor problem with the hot water and we were immediately changed to another beautiful room. We met the owner and she was so very friendly and gave us a lot of tips and history about this incredible place. Highly recommended.

This property is a gem! Small and intimate we felt like we were staying in someone’s personal home. Anna and Jon were so gracious and hospitable. We spent a lot of time out on the beautiful and peaceful terrace: breakfast in the morning to an evening bottle of wine we purchased at a nearby shop. We really appreciated all the snacks and tea always available. The location couldn’t be beat! We were off the beaten path in the sense that there was only foot traffic allowed, no cars or scooters. The Accademia 39 is an exceptional property all the way around!

Beautiful sun filled room with high ceilings and a sweet balcony with a cafe table and chairs perfect for drinking coffee in the morning. Staff was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a B&B property so not your standard hotel, but the staff is very accommodating and helpful to all needs. It is smaller than staying at one of the larger hotels in the area, which we really enjoyed - it provided a very relaxing place to stay at the end of long days touring the city. It is in the heart of downtown so you are within walking distance of everything. The breakfast in the mornings is delicious and as far as getting there, we took a car service from the Naples train station - which was booked by the staff for us. However, the more local train station in Sorrento is only about a 15 minute walk from the hotel - which also makes it easy to get to some of the surrounding attractions like Pompeii.

What a wonderful bed & breakfast in the heart of Sorrento. We enjoyed a great breakfast on their peaceful patio each morning, perfect for conversation and planning our day. Limited rooms make it extremely quiet. The location is convenient to everything; we had short walks to the Circumvesuviana train, and pickups for day trips and tours. Hardwood floors throughout and a large family room in the center make this feel like you are at a home-away-from-home. We had a wonderful stay, thank you Accademia 39!
