We loved our stay. Excellent bed. Clean room and bathroom. Sweet view of the bay. Wonderful hosts. Quiet. We'd gladly stay there again.

Perfect for what I needed. Old style Hilo casual within walking distance along the Bay to wonderful food at the Coconut Grill. Nice people, nothing fussy or high end about this place...just a low key vibe and the basics are covered. Pool was refreshing, view was delightful!

Nice room, and the staff are very helpful. Two things though - A/C is badly needed, and the wi-fi signals are very week in the rooms, that is why they suggest connecting in the lobby. Nice view of the bay & pool from the balcony. The kitchen sink, silverware and plates, glasses, etc. was great to have, and the big fridge was nice too.

Great service, very friendly. The security person even helped carry my luggage to my room and gave suggestions for places to eat. We had an incredible view of the ocean and could hear the waves lapping against the shore.

Our go to hotel for overnight stays in Hilo. Friendly staff, locally owned, yes it's not upgraded, but very comfortable and close to everything. The pool is a big bonus.

Older property with the basic amenities(coffee maker, hair dryer, laundry on property). Nothing fancy but with an older Hawaiian vibe, very cool. Nice views of the harbor and easy walking to the wonderful Lili'oukalani park.

It was a short stay but I found the desk clerk friendly and accommodating and security/greeter (men sitting on chair by entrance) very friendly. The rooms were clean, orderly, and comfortable. Could use some cleaning and updating on the outside of the room areas. I would staying here again.

We loved our stay. It was an older hotel, but we felt very safe. The staff were always friendly as they welcomed us each time we arrived or left for the day. We would stay again if we visit Hilo again.

This is a very nice place to stay on the edge of Banyan Drive in Hilo.
The staff are excellent. The facilities are a little out of date -- but I like it that way.

Property is located directly on the water. Was a little warm in the room but fans helped out. Older hotel but worked for what we needed.

A very nice property for our 4 night stay and well located in Hilo. It was a bit dated and I thought we would miss AC, but we were so near the ocean that the breezes and sound of the surf was wonderful.

Stayed 2 nights at this very nice and calm hotel. Hotel grounds and building are just a little aged but the interior of the rooms are nice and clean
