Beautiful place. The rooms is nice but the smell was horrible (old and moldy). The carpets the curtins and the furnitures need af steem cleaning. Unfortunatly this destroyd the whoe stay for me. I will not come back.

The beds were bad and the room smelled musty and stuffy. There were signs of water ingress and mold.
We can't in any way recommend staying in a family room at this accommodation.

Staff was very nice and helpful but actual castle can use some TLC. It was very quiet for me where I felt little scared in the building. Breakfast was good though. Light in the rooms are on sensor I believe and whole night they kept coming off which scared me even more. I kept TV on all night to distract ourselves.

A run down hotel which smells really bad and have extremely dirty carpets. The whole place felt so dirty I almost considered sleeping with my clothes on. I did not use any of the hotels service offerings like restaurants or other. The staff that checked me in were nice. And the placing was good for me and were I was going. The TV on the room did not work.
The pricing was ridiculous definitely over priced for what you get. Had I known the state of the hotel I would probably rather slept in my car or in a tent. I would not recommend this so called hotel to anyone.
Furthermore the hotel overcharged for the room after the visit was over, adding additional extra cost that I did not use or were informed of.

First of all, this place is extremely haunted. The entire place felt like out of a thriller csi series. Second of all, I was informed that the restaurant was closed and to go to the local town for dinner on a holiday when so much was closed.

Had to wait until 8.00 to check out in the morning, since reception opens then. And the breakfast staff could not check me out. Made me late to my meeting. Good food. But I could not get any breakfast, since you had to book that in advance, which I did not know.

Property was great. Room was pleasant. Service was fantastic. The only real drawback is the distance from the city (e.g., for alternative restaurants, etc.), but that all depends on what you're looking for.

Impressive looking hotel but room was in the annexe and was little bigger than a cupboard! Very limited menu in restaurant. Overall felt was overpriced
