We got there Saturday and the front entrance was yellow taped cause the were painting the front entrance with a very hard smell paint then we went to the pool and the water was cloudy and the hot tub was broken, elevator out, back door entrance did not work, very moldy smell on the hallways then to top it off on Sunday the painted the outside of the pool leaving a hard smell and the water dirty.

Great hotel to stay overnight before flying out. The hotel needs some upgrades but it’s ok.

Provided a clean, pleasant environment for a last minute lodging need. Staff was absolutely wonderful with our group. Only drawback was the nightly "gatherings" at the gas station/liquor store across the parking lot. Not noisy - just made our group of females uncomfortable to walk over for sodas/snacks or to the nearby restaurant.

I was a little concerned about the condition and cleanliness of the room at first. Carpet in halls and stairs seemed old, and loosely fit. Pool had signage that maintenance was being done but it was still accessible. Water in the pool looked a little cloudy and hot tub was not hot. The ice machine on 2nd floor was broken. The room was clean but the toilet seat was completely off hinges. It was repaired after being reported. Also a picture had been removed and you could tell the wall had been painted around the picture. Nothing affecting cleanliness or quality, but not esthetically pleasing. There was a strong marijuana smell in hallway that made me uncomfortable having my granddaughter around. They provided a good variety of breakfast items and the breakfast staff was very kind and helpful. Overall was clean and provided a good night’s sleep. P

It was okay for one night. I wouldn’t want to stay more than that. If I had cleaned the room myself, I’d probably feel better about it. The room smelled dank- it had an old smell. I booked it online while I stood at the counter which made me unable to get my points. The staff wasn’t super friendly but not mean either.

This is my second stay at Country Inn and Suites. It was wonderful as it was before! Quincy was so nice and friendly when I checked in. I had only booked for one night but my plans had changed. I explained to Quincy and he said not a problem we can work this out !! We got the room that has a living room and bedroom. We had our two grandchildren with us and it was great to get two rooms. Breakfast was wonderful the ladies that take care of it are so sweet and really make sure you have enough to eat. One morning they actually made me a waffle seeing I was tired from the night with the kids - it was so nice. The cleaning ladies work so hard in the rooms my room was meticulous everyday! Needed more towels they were delivered right away. The front desk people were also very helpful and nice. Coffee and hot water available all day long which i know I needed. It is located close to so many restaurants- Logan’s right there delicious steaks. My family knows where to stay when they visit Alabama to see my son look no further this is the place - County Inn and Suites !!

Excellent accommodations for our family of four. It was really close to the Space and Rocket Center, shopping malls, and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great!

The property has an off-putting smell. It smelled in the lobby, the hallways and even in the rooms. I can't put my finger on what it smelled like, but it was unpleasant. Rooms were sufficiently clean, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable.

The hotel was very clean everyone was very nice . Quincy at the front desk was wonderful had a problem with my AC he moved me right away! I will be definitely returning and have told my family about this Hotel . I have a son in New Market so I’ll be definitely returning soon!! Mary Jane Dudley

Terrible stay. Both beds had bed bugs. I didn't get any sleep I will never stay at this location every again.
