Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 nights we were there, there was some event happening across the bridge, and the loud music was going on till the end of night. But since we were in the family room, I was able to go into the second part of the room with the bunkbed and sleep there. Apart from that it was great. They have the AC, the window and TV on the adult side of the room, and on the kids side was kinda in another room, with some privacy but no doors in between. My son was elated with the room. It had a small desk and his own TV. The garden was large and awesome, with a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, lounging chairs, ping-pong table, a place to park bike, a tables to eat. The breakfast buffet was good. There is free parking spaces one minute walk away. The town is beautiful. Hotel is near the beautiful river, perfect for a walk, and to go to restaurants etc. There is kayaking place just across the river. I absolutely recommend this place, especially if you want to visit Lascaux IV. You can walk there from the hotel. The only thing to note is that though they give an opening and closing time for the swimming pool and jacuzzi, at the opening time they were only starting to set them up (cleaning, etc). So that even an hour after the opening time, the jacuzzi still wasn't warm. So don't expect to have a dip in the morning before going somewhere. All in all, I recommend. I would go there again - I would just check for any night festival happening, and not book on the same date.

Room was comfortable enough. The hotel is well situated. Staff/owner are not smily but nice enough. The huge downside was the air conditioning, outdated, so noisy we couldn't sleep but so hot that you couldn't sleep without it on!

Location was great. It was a little difficult to find parking.

The owner does not speak anything but French and when we could not understand him he just spoke faster and louder. He made troubles with our credit card at check-in and because of that we did not ask to upgrade our room to another with its own toilet.

We stayed one night . We arrive late, after front desk time, the owner was waiting for us to open the door. The parking is 50 steps . The room was already heated for us. We got a 1st floor room as I asked. The breakfast was wonderful. I saw the hotel has a garden and a pool for those who are coming on Summer. It is 3 min drive to Lascaux cave !!! Every think was great !!!

I was attracted by good opinion about hotel. Rooms were different from what you see on the photo. Everything needs upgrade. In family room I had a feeling it’s a shelter for refugees, bed next to bed. Bathroom old and worn out.

Le P'tit Monde is an excellent location for visiting the nearby caves, grottos and museums. With Lascaux IV due for completion in Dec 2016 Le P'tit Monde is ideally located within a Kilometer from the complex. The staff are most welcoming and the hotel atmosphere is congenial.
