room needs a lot of tlc

Great place. However the plumbing needs a fix. The shower is cold for a few minutes then intermittedly goes from hot to cold.

Booked a standard 2 double bed room as a room for our family of 3 (2 adults plus 1 teen) for after an event on the Gold Coast. Our navigation app in our car struggled to find the property, reception was polite and provided a key card and physical key and directions for parking. We were allocated to room 1010, which is on the ground floor. A corridor left off the foyer winds around going outside and having a more motel vibe, corridors were wet and the tiles slippery. Struggled to open the door with the key, unpacked. Room was basic as expected with shower, bath, toilet, kitchenette and tv. Sliding door to access a shared grass courtyard with the hotel pool. We did not use any of the room or hotel facilities beyond the bed and bathroom. After attending our event we returned around 930pm and could not open the room door. Bar staff directed us to May who was fantastic, she and my husband could not open the door. We ended up accessing our room via the courtyard entrance through an unlocked screen door (thats on us for not checking that door was locked when we checked in). May was gracious and apologetic, i am thankful we returned while staff were still on site. Beds were ok, noise from the corridor was loud especially luggage carts on tiles throughout night. Was fit for purpose but the lock/security was disappointing

They canceled our booking without telling us. When we arrived they were unapologetic. Just told us that they couldn’t help, they were full.

Beautiful room, but the customer service definitely left a lot to be desired. The TV was fitted with a channel blocker so we couldnt even use our own streaming services on the tv, and we only had access to 2 free to air channels. I witnessed rudeness from the management while there, although the younger boy was very nice. Value for money was good but general customer service was very off-putting.

For a room that sleeps 4 it contained 1 glass 1 cup no cutlery or plates, yet it had a kettle and microwave. What did they think people were going to drink out off or eat off. The restaurant that was breakfast does not cater for different diets. The food in the baimarie was cold.

The down stairs restaurant & bar were excellent & convenient. Only thing the fridge didn't work let them know.

The location was perfect for our needs. On arrival the first room we were given was filthy with messy bed and stale food in the room. The second room was a very long walk for a disabled person. The restaurant and bar staff were lovely. Reception staff need some training on politeness. Sat on chair in the lobby to almost fell to the floor. Told reception and she was not real interested, did not try to remove or even put a warning sign on the chair.

This property was perfect for our overnight stay with out 2 children. We would definitely make another trip there.

Our 5th time staying at the hotel, and it’s always a pleasure to be there. May and Riley are awesome as always and we greatly appreciate the wonderful stay that we always have there. We recommend this place to all.

Out of the way gem, really enjoyed a night here, close to themeparks.

The tv didn’t work. No one to contact. No phone. Rang from cell and mail box full. We waited 20 mins for someone to come to reception to book us Lift didn’t come. This was not as good as my first experience. I hope next week is better.

The only positive of this property is the location to theme parks

Easy check in and out, beautiful view, peaceful area, ample free parking.

Always a pleasure to stay with May , Riley and the team . We feel it’s home . Sad to leave but we will be back .

Very good location close to all the like Aldi, Woolworths, restaurants and close to theme parks. Overall the stay was good

Our room was on ground level, although a little dirty to walk to around the external passages, but overall, room was great, with a balcony & view of the marina. We only stayed there as it was convenient to access the Outback Spectacular that night. Breakfast at Hotel over priced. Buffet only, No choice in menu. Not suited to me to pay so much for a bowl of cereal. I felt i had to at least have yoghurt with it & cold eggs & bacon for it to come even close to being worth it. Unless you eat alot for breakfast, byo or eat somewhere else where theres a choice. Room was well presented. Shower & bathroom excellent, even had a bath. All very comfortable.

Great

The best value for money hotel on the gold coast. We stayed here last month and the tv had netflix, but this time not. The dunny seat seemed broken. There were a few mozzies inside and the room had a funny smell. Basically it is a 5 star resort that has not had maintenance over the last few years. Luxurious hotel and for that price will stay again, if the same price.
