Of the two franchise properties that are close to each other I preferred Southport. The only potential negative is the location. Greenwich has a superior location but the facility isn’t as nice.

A surprise on all counts. Staff and service excellent. Sound proof windows - important bc my room overlooked I-95. A real gem to find on my travels up the east coast.

The beds and pillows are sensational! Fresh flowers, cookies , chocolates ,and even the soaps are of the best quality. Always a pleasure to stay there.

Staff was extremely conscientious and helpful. The facility was lovely and well-appointed. The only drawback is the constant hum from I-95 a block away.

The staff at the property was extremely responsive and ready to assistance in any way. We have an electric car and since arriving to the hotel from out of town, needed to charge our vehicle. The availability of charging in the garage made our visit exceptional!

Room were very comfortable in size and amenities. Staff was over the top attentive. Would definitely stay again (we came back this time because of our prior experiences).
Bar staff was awesome Sat. night and the managers at the front desk were extremely professional, helpful and genuine.

Loved it for the night. Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast. Only caveat was that we were facing the freeway. I’d put up giant greenery wall or something so guests don’t have to see freeway.. but other than that, top notch experience!

The Delamar Souhport is the best overall hotel in Connectcut. I stay here every chance I get. For the room , thr property, the breakfast, but especially the staff. Couldn't have a more welcoming environment.

All in one hotel. Gorgeous. Safe parking, walkable. Had plans to dine out, walk the beach, but the room is so beautiful w comfortable bed, spacious bathroom w high shower pressure/good bay amenities. Add in best in class hotel dining available for pickup, this place will be my new go to visiting family & kids @ school.
