Friendly staff, the hotel was a bit strange as it didn’t have a reception area as such so we checked in at the bar and handed the keys to a cleaner - the hotel was shut in the morning being a pub. The shower room was in need an updating from the 1980s, but the room was good in general. Only stayed one night so didn’t matter too much.

Spent two nights. Very convenient, parking outside room and only a few metres to bar and dining. Staff in hotel were very friendly and accommodating.

The owners are very nice. They went out of their way to accommodate me with my needs. I’m very grateful to them. The room is lovely and the bar is very smart. Their meals are reasonable Able to park right near the ramp to our room.

Upon entry...warming king bed...wow! Best night sleep thus far. Dinner in the pub...delicious. my husband had a schnitzel & I the spare ribs...Hummo!!!

Historic hotel in the centre of town. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable. Very central to all shopping and eating places. Dining in Hotel was excellent and all staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Being on the main road it was very busy and noisy and the parking space for the units no very well set up, but despite this we had a very pleasant say.

The check in good but could do with a sign where to check in. The staff were excellent - couldn't do enough for you.
The room was very comfortable and after a long day in Burra the electric blankets were put to use (although we don't have them at home!!!).
There is a mini bar in the room but we didn't use the items. There are cafes opened in the main street of Clare for breakfast both on Saturdays and Sundays. The Hotel also has excellent meals for Lunch and Dinner.
