Excellent bargain, walking distance from Santa station. Watch it, though. I got robbed around the corner... but the hostal staff were helpful and sympathetic.

A well maintained hostal in the non-touristy part of Barcelona. Clean room, simple but functional furniture, friendly staff and good value for money. Like proximity to Ramblas de Badal and the old railway converted to a pedestrian area. Cafés and restaurants close by.

This is a poor site and the building is so older

Very basic accommodation, barely comfortable, awful smell in the room, very loud area without soundproofing in windows, trains make the building vibrate constantly... precarious stay you'd expect to be very cheap, not certainly not worth the price charged.

Part of my visit is a trip to Andorra and Hostal Sans is in a strategic spot that’s very close to the bus station. The metro lines are also a few steps away making it easy to go anywhere in Barcelona. The room is very clean and somebody is looking after my room every day. The jewel in this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful especially those gents in the front desk. All of them were so great to me during my stay. I love it when they smile after hearing my very little Spanish. They know that I’m trying my best and they appreciate it. I will surely stay again at this hotel when in Barcelona.

the hotel is not only in the perfect location with access to the metro, buses, and food but the staff are also very kind and helpful and the views from the room were amazing. I would definitely stay there again :)

The room was dirty with pubic hair in the bed sheets, it was difficult to resolve initially. I have rented this room for my parents who are elderly and they had to deal with this situation and fight to get another room. I wouldn't recommend this place to stay.

The location is convenient with bus and metro stations just 2 minutes walk. There are a lot of bars and restaurants around the area, but it’s also quiet and feels safe. The hotel is good, especially everyone working at the reception. The room was a bit small, and there was no safe, but it was very nice nonetheless.

Hostal Sans was a well-priced, but basic hotel in west-central Barcelona. Clean standard room, brand new bathroom but no features beyond a blow dryer and a TV. Close to lots of shopping and dining options. Walk to Sants train station and 2 Metro lines

Sorry that I won't come again ever. There are few reasons 1. The room size mentioned in Expedia is 194 square feet. After confirming with the Hostal, the Maxium size of comfort room size is only ~160 square feet. The room look much smaller than it states. I will say the picture makes the room look huge 2. There is many noise from train and the people at the park. The noise is non stop even at late night or early morning. 3. There is no double lock in the room. Also, you have to keep the key at the reception whenever you leave the hostal. There is no safety lock at the room. Some windows could not be locked. The staff replied me coz they are just hostal. All in all, I will never choose a hostal again

Great value and simple hostel with excellent transport connections walking distance from Metro station that runs right below the hotel. Staff was friendly, room had a lot of space. They had a common area on the 2nd floor with vending machines and microwave. A lot of food options and grocery stores in the area. Only weird thing is the room key has to be left with the front desk when you go out.

This is a hotel not really a Hostal - it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room and bathroom was very clean albeit small; but ok for a 1-2 night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located close to the station and the shops. Overall you cannot go wrong with staying here.

We stayed on our final night of vacation, as a place to rest our bones before the early am flight. Rooms are spartan but clean. Mostly , it should be clear this is a “hostel,” so none of the Amenities you’d expect at a more traditional hotel .
