Check in representative was very unhappy and unpleasant.

Employees were rude. Restaurant claimed they were out of everything so we couldn’t get dinner. Think it was more along the lines of the lady didn’t want to wait on us. Dirty linens were left in piles on the floor up and down the hallways for hours.

Definitely not what I expect from a Marriott. Loose tile in the bathroom, floor didn’t seem to be level and the fixtures were mounted un evenly. The furniture in the room was definitely showing its age and could definitely use a freshening.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the showers water temp was either cold or melt your skin off, hot. Otherwise, everything was ok!

Steps away from the beach, short drive to most popular attractions in st. Augustine. Restaurants near by. Very convenient, clean and quiet.

Great hotel, excellent price, clean, and quiet. Walkable bars, ice cream shop, beach entrance, restaurants. Spacious parking lot and car charger for electric cars.

Excellent location, parking is plenty. The walk to the beach was quick, and an ice cream shop across the street was nice for late night hangouts with the kids (9 & 11). There are restaurants that are three blocks over in each direction and everything is walkable. The hotel is in a quieter section of beach ave, but that’s what I prefer. If you’re looking to be near the public beach parking and people, you’d be better off being further north, near embassy suites. We have a Tesla and there are two shareable plugs (total 4) but they are ChargePoint and it’s not free. For the price, the hotel is excellent for its location, access to food/ entertainment/ beach. The staff is pleasant and always available.

Then was incorrectly describing a " rounding up policy" for room rate /deposit of which she was not able to calculate correctly

I was very disappointed with the woman at check in.
She wanted to talk to my husband instead of me. I made the reservation and was paying.
She was mumbling and talking in a low voice causing me to ask her to repeat herself many times.
The over all experience would have been better to not deal with her.
