We were 4 retired people. Three of us were siblings in the seventees. We stayed two weeks enjoying the beach and Lagos. Had one day trip with a boat to experience the caves. It was great!
Late September is a great time to visit Lagos. The weather was perfect and the crowds were not large.

Property was very outdated, built in the 80s. There was no shower gel in the dispenser and there was algae in the jacuzzi area in the spa. Staff was rude when trying to make a spa appointment and they said they were completely full. When I asked if I can use the facility, he rudely replied no even though I stay at the property.
The only great thing is walking distance to the beach, has a washer, and free parking.

This was a beautiful resort and our room was amazing. We booked the two bedroom suite and it was huge. We ate lunch one day at the restaurant and it was super. We did an a la carte bfast and were not as impressed. We also had drinks from the bar that were awesome.

We absolutely loved Belmar! Very high quality resort with great views, close proximity to a beautiful beach. Several pools at the property including one for adults only. I would highly recommend this place and wish we stayed there longer.

The property was fine, the rooms were large and in decent condition for the price. We had a day without hot water. we had to call for our room phone to be fixed The views were excellent- breakfast was basic and very expensive if you do not prepay- You are much better off going into town and spending 1/4th of the price for something delicious.
Parking a large vehicle is a nightmare, outdoor parking is limited, parking structures are available but extremely tight for a larger European car, as evidenced by all of the pillars being repaired from scrapes on car doors.

Resort and accommodations were top notch. Room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Large deck off room, nice pool area. Close to beach.
Only downside was you couldn’t walk into town where all the restaurants and shops were.

The lady at the spa was rude. Rooms are like apartments but they charge for items including coffee pods, laundry pods and water. No regard to acknowledge a special anniversary and make it memorable. For what they charge, no breakfast or dinner included. Recommend staying in Ave. Descobrimentos where a B&B can be booked and you are closer to activities including a Mercado.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly, the location is steps away from the beach and near an incredible walking trail that is breathtaking! The spa and couples massage was amazing! My wife and I enjoyed the Swedish massage which was exceptional! I had to take off one star from otherwise giving a 5-star rating because the cleaning staff (although they did a great job) came at various times during our stay instead of a fixed schedule. Also, I requested early on that our toilet seat needed to be fixed as one of the bolts was unattached causing it to shift around which was a bit annoying and did not get fixed during our stay. Other than those minor annoyances everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay in their 2 bedroom apartment. Spacious, clean, equipped kitchen , clean bathrooms! There is a private path to the nearby beach and the pool was fantastic ! Highly recommend!
