Room's and bathroom need an update, no AC, no coffee maker no fridge, mattress and pillows are old, and the price they ask for 1night is way to much.

We had to leave early (7:00 am) we could not get a coffee because breakfast was at 7:30........

I spend two nights at the Villa Clara during my cycling holiday by the Lake Garda. The family hotel has opened its doors more than 50 years ago and you can notice this when you step in - the time has taken its toll. But despite some minor cosmetic disadvantages, I would like to encourage you to stay at Villa Clara, because it has a good and friendly service, staff members do speak English well, the breakfast is a quality one, parking is safe and the location is fantastic. For those, who don't need fancy interiors, this could be a good option. One thing more - I managed to forgot my Garmin heart rate belt into the hotel. They contacted me immediately by email and asked me what to do with it. I wished that if they could send it to my home address, it would be great. They did it and didn't charge for postal fees. Thanks in million!
