Room was clean and comfortable enough, couldn’t figure out the heat as there were no instructions and about 3 different switches/dials. We got in late and just wanted to sleep instead of calling the front desk to have someone come to the room,etc. but it was quite cold in the morning

During our stay in Nova Scotia we stayed at this hotel/motel three times. Employees are very kind and breakfast is fantastic. Location is very practical.

When the gentleman at the desk was busy with someone else. After 5 or so minutes the Front Desk Supervisor came out, she appeared very annoyed to have to help me. Barely spoke, pointed where to initial and then handed me the 1 key and said "youre in the back building". When we got to the room there was a man standing on the steps of the room next to us who just stared the entire time. We walked in and the room reaked of weed! The room was mainly clean but the bathroom was gross!! See pics attached. Obviously the glass doors to the shower hadnt been cleaned because as soon as they steamed up i could see hand printed on the doors inside. Disgusting! Not to mention the stain that hadnt been washed off the floor of the shower. The sketchy people next door were loud and constant slamming. The guy outside when we arrived was still out there anytime we went outside to go to the car for at least a few hours looking like he was guarding that room. Extremely uneasy and unsafe feeling!

The hotel looked lovely, however we were in a single story trailer looking building behind the hotel, told it was an upgrade. I had requested wheel hair accessible I had one step up into unit that was on a slanted part of the parking lot, and no railing. We managed getting in. Area large and open, bench in shower, no chair at the desk. We are at the onsight restaurant largest bowl of soup I have ever gotten. Breakfast Buffet in morning good.

Lovely, well kept, clean, well appointed room. We swam and soaked in the indoor pool and hot tub. Restaurant good. Breakfast free and very good. No view but we were overnight and didn’t need. Highly recommend!

Nicely renovated room. Plenty of space. Good bed and TV. We were exhausted and ate in the restaurant. It was just ok, but a nice convenience. Breakfast, however, was much better than the average buffet with made to order omelettes and a large variety of options.

The place was good and its location was very close to coffee shops, restaurants, gasoline station, grocery stores, etc. House keeping aren’t bad. The breakfast buffet they are serving was good as well. The place itself was very cozy and elegant. The staffs were very accommodating and always ready to help.It was bit pricey talking about the value for money. I like the fact that i can cook in my room because i have means to do it. In general, Best Western Glengarry is worth recommending for short and long term stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful at the front desk when we checked in. Room was nicely updated but the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The outdoor space looked a bit sketchy but I’m sure it’s next on the renovation list. Overall, we liked our stay. Kitchenette was great!!

This was a perfect overnight stay for us while touring around Nova Scotia. The area around the property is pretty commercial. It's fairly local to the highway, right across from a gas station, etc. However, less than a 5 minute drive you can get to the main street in town which has tons of cute shops/restaurants and is much more walkable. I found our room itself to be clean and updated. Breakfast the next morning had a big variety which was nice. I'd absolutely stay again if we were in the area.

Check in staff were very nice. The room however was rundown, we were in one of the outside rooms/outside access. The door to the unit was literally hanging on by a few screws. You could see out through the door on the top, and down the side… at first I thought it didn’t close completely, and was unnoticed until the following morning when the sun was shining into the room from the door. If it was during the winter the room would have for sure filled with snow.
We required extra towels because there were only 3 in the room and it was 4 of us.. 45 minutes later and two request we had the extra towels… housekeeping skipped our room and moved onto the next room for the morning. There is an area of mold in the bathroom ceiling as well as the soap dispenser hanging off the wall.
We stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was not in this condition. Not sure what happened but certainly some repairs should be completed.

Although we were booked at the extended rooms part of the property because there was an issue with dead flies, we were moved to the main building quickly which was much better as it was more accessible for using a wheelchair.
