I booked a room for three adults and one baby. When we got there we were told that bedding for one more adult would cost extra. I do not object to this but they should have been clear about this when accepting the booking. When someone books a room for three people, there is a general expectation that there should be enough bedding for three people. I have not had this problem at other hotels. Then again, Mr Kinjo is cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for. Also, the room is advertised as having a kitchen. But it has no stove! I am not sure that it can claim to have a kitchen if it has no stove. That would be kind of like claiming to have a bedroom but no bed. Again, it is cheap so I suppose this is to be expected. On the plus side it comes with a washing machine and dryer - very useful. And the fridge is nice and big. The location is not very convenient, a fair distance from the light rail. And the property is difficult to find as you have to go through some back alleys to get there. Even with Google Maps it was not too easy to find the first time, although once you have found it once it is easy enough to get there a second time. Once again, at this price I suppose you cannot complain. The staff were a mixed bag. This being Japan, the reception guy on the first day hardly spoke any English, but the south Asian lady and gentlemen on subsequent days were much better. So in summary, this is a nice and cheap place to stay, but you get what you pay for.
