Position is perfect to walk to the beach and many restaurants around. If you rent a scooter or motorbike there are lot of free parking within 2 min walk. One minus to position that it is a busy street under, so you will end up rather using air conditioning with closed windows othewise it is noisy. But in general all things considered, very good.

A beautiful, quiet, clean place, close to everything: the beach, markets, and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. I arrived three hours before the scheduled time, but they still gave me the place and helped me. The price is reasonable and acceptable. When I come back again, it will be my first choice.

Bed was great. Well-appointed room, with a fully-equipped kitchenette (washing machine even!). The only problem is that the street is quite noisy due to traffic and the room is not very well isolated, which means that you can easily listen to other rooms as well.

My partner and I checked in on the 29th, in a comfort suite, room 206. When we arrived, staff were friendly and helpful, but the staff were not the issue. As we approached our room, the hallways, stairs, and particularly the mirror decorations were all dirty, setting the tone immediately. We got to our room, and quickly were disappointed. Although the facilities worked, with the exception of the cold shower, the cleanliness of the room was shocking. What we had been promised was not what we received. From the marks on the walls, to the mould in the shower, the entire place was just poor. We informed the receptionist, who was polite, and he told us the cleaner would do a once over. Even after this, we found that the only thing that had really been cleaned was the inside of the fridge. We were told that the black mould in the shower was not actually dirt, and neither was the marks over the walls, they were just ‘wear and tear’. We checked out early, and we’re genuinely shocked at our experience. I would say the reviews do not do the place justice from our experience. We have received no compensation, and have tried to take this up with Expedia, to which we were told there’s nothing that can be done. The hotel also claims that we never reported any issue with the room which is so frustrating.

Poems was the best place we have ever stayed! We had a double bed suite and were delighted with the quirky layout the quality and cleanliness of the suite. It was the most comfortable bed and pillows we have slept on.... There is a cafe on the corner that opens early for a fresh coffee and pastry for breakfast as well as a small market to buy fresh items or tourist bits. Easy walking distance to the esplanade and parking sites within the city. Highly recommend.

I do not understand the high rating to be honest. For sure the pictures that were posted was not even close to what I stayed. The room was very humid and smelled like someone cooked in there right before we arrived. Towels have stains (black dirt looks like molds) and bed sheet also had a black stain. Warm shower does not last long enough for two people.

First we had an Apartment to the street side and it was very loud. Moreover, the toilet door didn‘t work properly which was a big problem. After complaining, they have us another Apartment which was great 😀. Location is great - near the beach and a lot of Restaurants around.

Had a good 6 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel in a good position with just a few minutes walk from the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. Also, a very good and inexpensive bike hire shop is about a 10 minute walk.

We enjoyed it very much in this apartment! Especially we liked the location. 3 minutes to the beach and in the evening it is breathtaking. The apartment is very new and beautiful. You have everything you need. Thank you Poem Suits for this experience.

Loved my stay, conveniently located. But loud music playing at 3am and sound-proofing not the best was problematic, but bareable.

Convenient location, 3 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Really nice staff.
