Great hotel at a great price!

We were in town for our granddaughter's birthday and it was very family friendly. The staff was pleasant and attentive.

The hotel was very clean. The workers were pleasant. Room was very clean. Shower was great. Breakfast could be better. But overall great stay.

If I could give zero stars I would. The hotel manager Mr. Patel is rude, zero professionalism and racist. This is an independently owned Best Western, I assume he is possibly the owner since this behavior is tolerated. The rooms are dirty with bugs. If asked to clean to room they have attitude. No customer service if you have an issue with your stay. Based on other reviews he’ll just tell people not to come back. Hopefully he won’t continue to speak to people derogatory. Don’t put yourself in this position, avoid this hotel, there are many more in the area for similar price with better customer service and are Clean!

For a “newer” hotel I expected it to be nicer. There were still areas on the outside of the building being worked on. And an extra switch in the bathroom didn’t do anything. The tub area outside the shower stall looked grungy and the water temperature for the shower was hard to regulate. Tap water tasted awful.

An odd mix of good and bad. Layout and space was nice. But looking past casual observations, there were issues. Our sink drained slow, with full bowl of backup. Toilet seat slid around and felt like may fall off. No tissues. Toilet paper rolls were partial ones and quickly ran out. All doors, hard surfaces had cloudy sheen as of cleaned with dirty rag. Shower was overhead spout so impossible to take a shower without getting hair wet. The dispensers for soap, shampoo looked creepy and the spouts didn’t work. But hard telling what was even in the bottles. Bed was hard, but pillows were nice. Room temp was pleasing and many channel options on tv. For a newer property, I don’t think fixtures will hold up as saw a lot of wear and tear. Don’t eat breakfast and had no desire to after experiencing room. But spacious set up and few staff we saw were pleasant.

Wonderful shower, But uncomfortable bed, placed awkwardly in the room so close to one wall that it was hard to get around it with the heater in the way. No room clock.

The room was ok. Food (breakfast muffins) were left on a plate in the refrigerator. Room just did not seem extremely clean. Bed was ok. Maybe the staff just overlooked it, but it turned me off on what else might have been overlooked. Usually not that concerned, but this bothered now.

You get what you pay for. Very reasonable price but also bare bones. Morning receptionist on her phone the whole time we had breakfast and didn’t say goodbye when we left hotel. First room smelled like smoke but front desk guy gave us a new room with no argument.

Overall the stay was excellent. Service was good and friendly. A couple things that could use some attention. The wonderful toilet commode did not have the correct seat on it, so it was less than comfortable to use. Also, a really small thing, there was only decaf coffee in the room. It would have been nice to have hand one caffeinated coffee for the room coffee pot.

Do not stay at this hotel! We were awaken by a loud popping sound that occurred at various intervals throughout the night, so we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The next morning, I asked the hotel manager about it and several other people in the lobby mentioned it happened in their room too. The manager knew about it and said the sound was from the room refrigerators and it was a mechanism to "keep from freezing." There was nothing she could do about it, but said that unplugging the fridge might have helped. Wish I knew about this severe inconvenience before booking my room.
