Older hotel over a restaurant/bar in excellent location for walking to all sites. 4 block walk to The Old Course and several golf shops along the way. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast was delicious. Rooms older and small as expected. We would definitely stay again. St Andrews is a treasure!

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and the addition of a safe was great. I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect and there was a free car park next door.

We stayed for one night as we were meeting friends for dinner at a restaurant nearby.
There is free parking right beside the hotel which is a real bonus in St Andrews. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable. There was a great choice for breakfast which was included.

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff were always helpful. Breakfast was fine, but kitchen burnt toast, let guests make own toast.
Room walls do not absorb sound from corridor or adjacent rooms so can get disturbed.
Wi-Fi hookup difficult, access via browser should not be required.

Great location over a pub. The room was large and comfortable. The floor was wooden and very creaky so sleep was difficult. The pub was great and the staff amazing!

The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our 5 day stay.
The room itself was a good size! The bathroom was on the smaller side and very little counter space. The bed was firm. Typical small pillows.
Just 2 complaints. 1) Even though the property was non smoking, our room smelled like cigarettes. 2) The hallway was super noisy and all the doors to the individual rooms do not close quietly so we heard everyone on our floor coming and going.
We ate at the restaurant 2 times. Would have been more but the kitchen closes early!
