I would return to Casa Vela in a heartbeat - it’s a beautiful boutique hotel. The grounds are stunning with lots of areas to explore. The pool is peaceful and has the right amount of sun and shade. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge in the evening too. The bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds. The bathroom was a little cramped but clean. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The hotel was in a great location about 10min amble to centre of cascais. The hotel itself was really well designed with pool and garden very pretty and relaxing. Our room was very spacious with its own mini kitchen facilities so suited our needs. Overall definitely return when we can.

I liked this hotel. It's in a convenient location if visiting Cascais and has bikes for hire. You can park outside - paid parking, but free on a Sunday.

Very large room and bed. Excellent air con. Slightly small bathroom but manageable. Excellent staff especially Milene. She is excellent at her job and has a beautiful smile for you every morning.

It is set in a quiet area of town, yet within walking distance of everything, The two pools (one for children) are set in delightful gardens, and the communal areas feel like being guests in someone's luxury home. Excellent choice of foods for breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and individually decorated. Quiet bit within easy walking distance of town facilities. Shower & toilet were not in a bathroom, they were accessed directly from the bedroom. This meant that the bedroom floor became wet after using the shower. No bin in the main bedroom, only in the toilet area

The hotel staff, facilities and breakfast were excellent. Pool and gardens were lovely. Our stay was let down slightly by the very dark basement room with no outlook and the noise from a nearby building site.

We had a great stay. The location in a quiet area within 10 min. walking distance from the city center was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Also the private airport transfer for 50€ worked well for us. Overall, nice and peaceful atmosphere. Yet, a nice place for families too. The garden is beautiful and nice to relax in and have a swim. The pool could be a bit cleaner though. Bathrobes and slippers would be a nice addition to the room amenities. Despite these little things, would definately love to stay again!

Beautiful hotel and gardens. Within walking distance of Cascais city centre with plenty of restaurants and shops, approx 10 min walk. During our stay there was building work going on nearby which was quite noisy but after going to the reception and being moved to another room it was alot quieter. Would definitely come back.

We found this gem at the end of our holiday. Wonderful old villa and boutique style hotel with all the amenities in a quiet location convenient to everything. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was great.
