The beautiful Moonset Vista will offer spectacular views during the day and especially at night, it is just a few steps to the beach and a short walk to the Mushroom Pool. With space for 14 people, the Moonset Vista is ideal for multiple families to spend time together. With lots of windows, you will be able to enjoy the lake view from almost every room. The main floor has a large kitchen with an open living room and dining room that will seat 14 counting the bar area. Gas Fireplace for the cozy nights in the living room. 2 large decks for dining and entertaining. Big Screen TV downstairs and Living Room to enjoy all the upcoming ballgames or a new movie.  There are four queen mattresses, one full-sized mattress, and two pullout sofas.

Chesnut Bay has 2 Beach Areas with Chairs and Umbrellas furnished . Boat and Jet Rentals on Site. 2 Pools, Basketball court and Swing set for the kids. Free Kayaks, water bicycles also on the Great Escapes side there is 2 playgrounds , basketball court, ice cream shop, gift shop, waterpark, jumping pillow, corn hole, horse shoes.

The Neighborhood:
Chesnut Bay Resort and Great Escapes RV resorts and Pirates Bay Waterpark are nestled in a small community on Weiss Lake in Leesburg , Alabama.

Getting Around:
Great Escapes rent golf carts for 75.00 @ day and you have to be 21 years old to rent one and 18 to drive. No outside
golf carts are allowed. We are only a short distance to Dollar General in Leesburg and 10 minutes from Walmart. We have several local food recomendations.
