The cushions had been left on the Adirondack chairs at the beach so were a bit moist. They should have been stored in the outdoor closet.

-heating - Heaters in some locations were not working. If you know the check in time for a guest (I had called earlier and confirmed a 12pm check in time) how about turning on the heaters on a chilly day. Would surely leave a great impression.-pool system - The pool controls from inside the home were not working. Luckily the pool cleaner showed up on Friday afternoon and showed us how to work it from the system in the pool cabin. Extremely helpful and great guy.Overall, thanks for the service.

We have rented this property in the past because of the heated pool and spa. The weather is often cold and foggy (as it was during our stay) and the pool is a great place for children. Being one of the more expensive properties in Sea Drift I expect things to work. During our stay we had one day the pool was too hot to get in and 2 days it was too cold to get in. The hot tub didn's work two of the 6 days we were there. We left a day early. We also had two plumping situations due to poorly maintained plumbing. When on a vacation it should not be the responsibilty of the guest to be concerned about deferred maintenence. The property manager was excellent and did everything they could regarding the pool. I have requested a partial refund and waiting to hear back. I would expect it to be at the very least one nights cost.

We loved the property and all of the great folks at Hwy 1. Truly, they are so professional. I know it's a beach house (a truly outstanding one at that),however, I do feel there could be improvement in the bedding/cleaning area. I found a pair of women's panties between the nite stand and master bed. In the guest house (we didn't use) there was a visible empty water bottle and frisbee under the chair and sofa. Indicated a lack of vacuuming. It needs more detail in cleaning. I personally took apart the refrig and cleaned well. The mattress pads were filthy (esp twin room). I washed and am hoping they do get washed with each visitor, as are the shams and bedspreads. Visitors like to feel clean upon retiring at nite. We do this in our vacation rental. Otherwise, we loved our family vacation and wouldn't hesitate to visit this beautiful property again and to recommend it to our friends. The pool and jacuzzi were a big plus, esp on the foggy days. We loved our visit and had a truly wonderful family vacation in this beautiful home.

Great properity, wonderful weekend. Place was a bit musty and dusty and carpets in main bedroom were pretty run down. Could use a major cleaning but otherwise incredible location with wonderful amenities.

The location was terrific! We enjoyed the beach as well as the heated pool and spa. Our grandchildren had a wonderful fun week!! The way the house was built gave all our family some quiet time even thought there were ten of us.

We would like to rent it on President's Day weekend again next year, and for next 10 or so years.We wondered whether it would be OK to use the fireplace since it was a little on the cool side, but it wasn't necessary.Drawers and cubbards not particularly clean.
