A propos de ce maisonrental
This 140 m² house is located on the Carteret side of Barneville-Carteret, 80 m from the port and a 15-minute walk from the beach. It is beautifully decorated and functional. La Maison du Port can accommodate up to 8 guests. It comprises a large, open-plan ground floor with kitchen, living room and dining room. On the first and second floors are four bedrooms, two shower rooms and a 200 m² garden. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels included - we're waiting for you!
The accommodation includes :
Ground floor :
- A 40 m² living room with TV, sofa and dining area
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, coffee makers, etc.
- Separate WC
First floor:
- Small open-plan living room with armchairs
- Bedroom 1: queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: two single beds
- Bathroom with shower
- Separate WC
Second floor:
- Bedroom 3: one queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 4: two single beds
- Bathroom with shower, WC and heated towel rail
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, plancha, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
Exterior:
- 200 m² private enclosed garden
- A 20 m² terrace area with furniture for sunny days.
The house faces south-east and is ideally located in Barneville-Carteret, in very pleasant surroundings. All essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc. are just a short walk or bike ride away.
Carteret harbor is 80 m away, and the beach is a 15-minute walk along the channel. The village is a 5-minute walk away.
Activities :
Boat trips on the “Barracuda 7”, when the owner is available, it's not unusual to see dolphins or seals during fishing trips or walks.
The Cotentin region has a rich historical heritage, and hiking the customs path can take you all along the Cotentin's west coast. Le Cap is a 30' walk away and leads north to the Hatainville dunes and their 10 km nature reserve.
Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house's private garden parking lot (2 vehicles).
For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful:
- Valognes train station is about 25 minutes away by car, and there are buses between Carteret and the station.
- Caen-Carpiquet airport is about 1h30 away by car.

- Boat tours on a 7m fishing boat (reservation, payment and payment to be made with our local partner).
- Bed linen and towels included

- Pets are allowed in the accommodation. 1 pet per stay maximum
