Batson House (Allenhayes Road) is a luxurious, spacious 4 bedroomed house located in the beautiful coastal town of Salcombe, South Hams, Devon. less than 10min walk from the Whitestrand waterfront.
Batson House is furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard throughout. The house is ideally suited to one or two families for the perfect holiday or short break away. There is a spacious open plan living area on the ground floor and 3 excellent-sized bedrooms on the first floor with a beautiful tiled family bathroom, and stylish shower room. On the lower ground floor there is another large king-sized bedroom with ensuite shower room. The house is the perfect base to explore not only everything Salcombe has to offer, but also nearby Dartmouth, and the surrounding area of the South Hams, Devon.
Living Room: The light, bright, comfortable sitting room with large bay window and stylish white shutters, has views over Salcombe & estuary glimpses. The room is stylishly furnished with a 2-seater sofa under the window, a large corner sofa, comfortable arm chair & footstool. The sitting room boasts a stunning open fireplace topped with mirror, & has fabulous wooden flooring throughout. The room also features a flat screen Smart TV, perfect for a comfy evening in front of a roaring fire!
Dining / Kitchen: The beautiful bespoke kitchen with traditional grey shaker style units, caesarstone work surfaces & a Belfast sink is a joy to behold. This designer kitchen has a large island, lots of storage space & is stocked with all the basics. The kitchen comes fully equipped with SMEG oven & gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, & Nespresso Machine. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, glasses, mugs & utensils. Perfect for prepping those delicious holiday meals, and preparing picnics for the beach! The dining table seats 8 (with extension leaf)
Sleeping: On the 1st floor there are 2 king-sized bedrooms & 1 double bunk-room which sleeps up to 4. The large master bedroom is at the front of the house & has estuary glimpses. It has a king-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a chest of drawers & wardrobe as well as an LCD TV. The 2nd large bedroom has a king-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, chest of drawers, plenty of built-in storage & an LCD wall mounted TV. The double bunk room is perfect for the kids. On the lower ground floor there is another spacious king-sized bedroom with built-in wardrobes and a fantastic en-suite shower room.
Washing: Batson House has a stylish spacious tiled family bathroom with high quality fixtures and fittings, including a bath with chrome shower over, basin with cupboard underneath, wc & towel rail. There are 3 further shower rooms, one on each floor. Each have a shower, basin, wc and towel rail and all are beautifully tiled. Fluffy towels are provided, as well as handwash.
Parking: There is a private allocated parking area to the rear of Batson House which can accommodate 2 small/compact cars or 1 large car. There is also unallocated on-street parking to the front of Batson House, on Allenhayes Road.
