This beautiful, contemporary apartment is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a luxurious seaside getaway in North Devon. Based in the centre of Woolacombe, guests are never far from a great range of local restaurants, pubs and cafes serving delights from the waters around, as well as local gift shops, surf schools and family-friendly attractions. With the vast, golden sands of Barricane Beach just metres from the door, traditional beach days are made easy, so don’t forget your buckets and spades, and don’t shy away from hiring some water sports equipment to help you hit the waves. With the South West Coast Path less than a half a mile from the property, walkers are spoiled with various trails that showcase North Devon’s rugged beauty and local wildlife. For fun days out, the seaside resort of Ilfracombe is within 6 miles, with crazy golf, shops, pubs, and restaurants, or visit Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, only 12 miles away, with lots of activities for the whole family.
Your beautiful holiday apartment will be found on the ground floor from the on-site car park. As you enter the property, head on through the hallway to the light and airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner – the social heart of the property. On entry you’ll immediately notice the stunning views through the balcony doors as well as the stylish interiors that make this space wonderful for relaxing in together before or after your North Devon adventures. Relax on the L-shaped sofa beside the balcony, flick on the Smart TV for some entertainment or grab your holiday read to while away the evening. When stomachs start to rumble, lay up the nearby, colourful dining table and walk through to the well-appointed, whitewashed kitchen space where you’ll find all you need to whip up a Devon feast for your loved ones, perhaps using the fresh seafood you’ve sourced during the day. When day turns to night, walk back through the hallway and choose from three delightful bedrooms, all of which offer neat, crisp interiors and sumptuous beds to help reenergise you for the next day. Find a welcoming bunk bedroom that little ones will love and a well-equipped family shower room on this floor, or head upstairs to choose from the king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, or another king-size bedroom but with zip-and-link beds that can be converted to twins on request.
From the lounge there are patio doors onto your private balcony with outdoor furniture and spectacular views across the beach. This is a delightful spot to simply soak up the scenery, watching the tide come and go, as well as enjoying al fresco morning coffees and evening nibbles.
