Amazing views from the deck. Hosts were very friendly as were the birdlife.

The perfect getaway for a relaxing couple of days. Totally clean, beautifully appointed, perfect views and peace, peace, peace. Our host Barb was friendly and very generous in providing absolutely we could wish for including a great breakfast. We loved it and will be back?

It was fabulous, relaxing, tranquil get away, the best spot to destress and unwind. Loved it!

Welcoming hosts, negligible internet, quiet, magnificent views, excellent well appointed cottage, welcoming wine and cheese, quality ingredients for a cook yourself at your leisure breakfast, personally delivered morning croissants!

Yabbaloumba Retreat was unexpectedly enjoyable......abit off the beaten track but very worthwhile. One is treated to spectacular Australian panoramic views and nature (bird watching) at it's best. WIFI and cellphone availability would have been good to have and also alternate days house cleaning. There is no restaurant at the retreat, so visitors will need to bring their own food, altho we were presented with a lovely Xmas hamper, with wine. The nearest town is Kenilworth, about 5 kms away, where there are restaurants & cafes. Otherwise, it was a great "chill" stay and we came away fully re-charged and rested !

We loved our stay at Yabbaloumba Retreat. Our hosts and staff we friendly and very accommodating. Welcome treats and daily breakfast were a nice touch. The views were beautiful every minute of our stay. Highly recommend and would return for another relaxing weekend away.

We stayed here for two nights and were happy as soon as we walked through the door. The cabin had everything you could ask for and we could not fault anything. Was a great location that provided quiet and relaxation but still close enough to go to the local town of Kenilworth for dinner and to explore the surrounding areas of Mapelton, Montville and Maleny including doing the Kondilla Falls walk. Relaxing in the spa at night was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean, well provisioned and the location is absolutely fantastic. Great choice if you want to get away from it all.

We were there for a couple nights getaway. The weather wasn't too good, but it gave us all the more reason to just stay indoors and enjoy the cabin. There were a few hiccups that kept it from making the stay even better (eg. lots of candles but no matches; fireplace and BBQ didn't work, but they were quickly fixed (also meant a number of interruptions). Hosts Lloyd and Barb and their team were very friendly, and the location was lovely and quiet. We'd definitely stay again, but request for cabin 3, and bring more food supplies! :-)

Great weekend getaway. Beautiful setting and fantastic self-contained lodge. The welcome pack in the fridge was a nice touch.

We had a very relaxing weekend at Yabbaloumba & couldn't have wanted more the hosts are very friendly the breakfast was all you could want (replenished daily in the refrigerator) eat as much or little as you want..a surprise was recieving hot croissants each morning delivered to your door, the spa is very large easily accomodating two adults with great views as well,we found the "pushbutton" gas fireplace amazing..well no need to worry with firestarters or replacing the firewood etc, loved seeing the animals & also the wildlife especially the various birds on the dam and spent many hours on the balcony soaking this all in & hope to return in the not too distant future
