A hotel should be even basic clean, this was far away from it. The apartment was in an untidy condition, there was obvious dirt, cigarette butts, wear and tear, the sofa was broken. We said this several times, nothing happened. It is not right that the first thing to start cleaning when entering the apartment.
The dirty mattresses were lined with plastic sheets, you can't sleep on them. We would have removed those plastic sheets, but the dirty (clearly pee-soaked) mattresses were revealed underneath.
Hotel is a Spa-hotel, but you can not take your under 10-year old child with you. We stayed one week in hotel and it was raining a lot, we were never able to use the Spa during that time. The outdoor swimming pool was clearly closed, you couldn't have gone there in that weather.
A deposit is ridiculous for such an apartment.
But something good too, there is very much to see (beautiful little villages, etc.) in the vicinity of the hotel, within a 10-kilometer radius, that there was no need to spend time in the hotel itself.

Very large, clean, pet-friendly house with a terrace, garage and swimming pool (not open off season) at a reasonable price. Great sightseeing and historical sites in the vicinity. Spa is also very nice.

Despite information given if you are expecting a near five star stay you won't get it. We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday evening to find reception closed (ok Nov out of season but come on!!!). The restaurant accepted to serve us under duress (they didn't have a table), but surprise surprise it was half empty. It wasn't a hotel room that we found, but a self contained holiday house - nice but not what we were expecting - AND WE HAD TO MAKE UP OUR OWN BEDS!!!! Everything had to be prebooked (no strolling up for breakfast unannounced), and the spa and gym cost us 20 euros extra per person per time!! Also not mentioned on the website - you kind of expect that its all thrown in for the price - NOT CHEAP and NOT WORTH IT
