Older property with private beach. Definitely stay again

Great place to stay people were nice and responsive when we called down to the office. Room needed updating there was a hole in the ceiling like there was once water damage and the table on the balcony was rusted. No iron or hair dryer or coffee in the rooms which was fine just didn’t plan on it vs a hotel.

Adorable Old School Motel directly on the beach. Classic original architecture with nice upgrades in the rooms. The perfect marriage of original with modern upgrades. Nothing fancy which is not needed when you can come and go on your private beach. Heavenly

Perfect cape cod hotel. Pricate beach has tables and chairs and every room has easy access to beach, even the ones not facing the water. Staff were friendly.

The room was clean but outdated and there was only 1 chair in the room so it made it tough to eat in there. unfortunately, our room was on the second floor over the office and only overlooked the parking lots. it would be great if the shower had a shelf or at least somewhere to put soap and shampoo versus having to leave it on the floor. We lost power to part of the room and had to go to the office to have the firs or breaker reset.

We had a great 2 night stay. Our room was very clean, bright and comfortable. The beds were great, beautiful view and there was plenty of room. The beach was clean and had plenty of lounges to enjoy.

The room was super nice, spacious and clean. Great area, easy check in/out. Nice private beach. Comfortable beds and convenient location. My only issue is since its dog friendly, i think there might have been fleas in our room. We really enjoyed our stay tho and i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This is an older property and we didn’t expect much since it was much cheaper than the other ocean front motels nearby, and that’s exactly what we got..not much.
The floor of the shower had cracks that were clearly leaking water as it felt “soft” to walk on. The Wi-Fi simply didn’t work, kicked you off every couple of minutes. Our friends who also stayed here had the exact same problem. Nothing has changed since the 60’s, nothing. Since you let yourself in and have to request housekeeping services (which we didn’t ) I only talked to one person who happened to be in the room while I was getting ice and she was very sweet. It IS right on the beach which was nice. If your only qualification is price this might be the place for you. For all else you may have break open the piggy bank.

Do not book room 1 or 2 or 3. These are essentially basement room with absolutely no view and no sound insulation. Room 1 where we stayed is the worst as it faces the staircase to the floor above. We were woken up by the arrival of the guest above us late at night. Every footstep could be heard. Then we were woken up again at 2am when the guest went to the bathroom. Repeat on the following night. There was no receptionist when we arrived and nobody had notified us of the room number. Thankfully, the cleaning person helped us. She also helped us when we told us that the heater in the room was not working. She knew right away to check the breakers so it must not be the first time this happened. This said, if you can get a water view the place is right on the beach and you will have a much, much better time. What we paid for room 1 was way overpriced in my opinion.
