Rooms were clean and tidy. View of ocean and sounds of waves crashing from balcony was great. No space in bathroom for toiletries. Only one chair in room. Two chairs on balcony were nice. Many electric sockets did not work. Staff was pleasant.

I was hesitant initially to stay at this hotel but I am so glad we did! The room was flawlessly clean and smelled amazing as soon as we walked in! The view is breathtaking. The staff is friendly and the hotel was perfect even with kids. The rooms were spacious and had a microwave and a mini fridge (we asked for a microwave and got one right away!)
The balcony is great and the AC worked great as well. Only thing that was missing was a light in the room! Not a big deal but sometimes I felt like we needed more light since there were only night lights in the room.
Not a deal breaker for us so we still enjoyed our stay. The pool was cozy and my son enjoyed it a lot. We loved our experience here! Highly recommended. It was perfect for our mini long weekend getaway. York is also such a cute lively town!!

This boutique hotel is the perfect get away, it is right across the beach, my family and I watched sunrise on the balcony more than once, we also took advantage of the patio furniture and had breakfast on the balcony. The room was clean in good condition, beds are okay, good shower pressure, the only recommendation is the semi broken screen door.

We found the beds comfortable. AC worked great and very clean.The chairs on private deck were not! they look great, but add a few pillows and acceptable. The pool was a godsend since the ocean is sore ankles temperature. Overall, we would definitely comeback. It would not hurt to have a guide for the tv channels.

Location is very good. Right across street from the ocean. TV is difficult to operate and a tremendous lack of channels. Virtually nothing local. One Portland channel that wasnt even "live".
New owners for past few years seem to be wanting to make it more trendy. Good chance wont go back and have stayed there 50 years.

Beds were too soft. The staff put a bed board in there and you could not even tell they did that. Could not turn light off on deck to enjoy the evening view of the ocean. Light reflected on glass railing. Glass railing stopped any airflow onto the deck. Deck chairs were uncomfortable. Glass railing did provide a better view then the old wooden railing.

The Grand View Hotel is right across from Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. The staff is very friendly. The beds were comfortable & the room was clean. The air conditioner was quite noisy but other than that it was a great place to stay!

We were exhausted when we arrived, but we’re able to get good rest. The balcony was perfect for watching the ocean and the people passing by. We were on the second floor and it is a walk up. Would highly recommend this quiet spot. The doors are well insulated for limiting street noise.

Everything was excellent. I do want to note that the bathroom door did not fully close and would not lock. Other than that everything was great.

We really our 3 day stay at Grandview! We were able to check in early, settle in, and go to the beach across the street! Very clean accommodations.

It was great. Beautiful view from our balcony. A bit tough getting up the stairs but worth it once up and looking out. Wished the porch light was able to turn off. Otherwise comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly.

Our stay from start to finish was absolutely amazing! This charming little location is a gem by the ocean. Friendly staff and great views. We were on the 3rd floor so lots of stairs, but its just what we needed after a long day of eating all of the local fare.
