A propos de ce villarental
The owners of plenty of luxury rental properties consider their homes unique. But there is only one Villa Unik, a one-of-a-kind masterpiece situated in the heights of St. Jean. The deeply impressive vacation home was designed by Philippe Starck in such a way that the sleek, contemporary design complements one of the best sea views on St. Barth.
With its spacious layout, good separation of bedrooms, and ample privacy, Villa Unik is an especially good choice for large groups.
And yet despite the size and scale, not a single detail has been overlooked—not for visual impact, nor for comfort, nor for experience.
Arriving to the villa you traverse a long driveway—ensuring that the house is privately tucked away from the road—to find an ample parking area. First you encounter the outdoor areas of the villa, the very long terrace with its 20-meter-long heated swimming pool and gleaming mosaic-tiled Jacuzzi. An outdoor bar area, wine cellar, and dining table for 16 are set up beneath the covered terrace.
To the right side, you will find the living area, which has a handsome setup with wood-paneled walls and large cozy sofas, and the everyday kitchen, with its checkerboard floor and counter with barstool for casual breakfasts. Behind that, tucked away and out of sight, is a large professional kitchen with its own entrance, perfect for booking a dinner (or more) with a private chef.
Throughout, the villa is full of design-forward furniture, lighting, and finishes. Only noble materials were used, such as the wood that clads all the bedrooms and makes them very cozy. Color is tastefully integrated in all the accessories throughout. As for the audio side of things, surround sound has been installed all around the property with Devialet speakers and access to a Spotify account.
All seven of the bedrooms in the main villa have ensuite bathrooms, king-size beds,, air-conditioning, HDTVs with Apple TV and Dish satellite, good collections of books, and ocean and garden views. The primary master bedroom is next to the living area with its own entrance. It has a large dressing area and a desk. A second master bedroom is on the opposite side of the terrace.
Next to that bedroom, there are two more bedrooms, one of which is smaller and more suitable for a nanny or children. It has its own entrance in the back and can be connected with the bedroom next to it.
Three more bedrooms are located downstairs, beneath the primary master bedroom. These can be connected if needed. The other bedroom on this level is on the opposite side of the house, near the fitness room and cinema, which happens to come with 3D glasses available.
Villa Unik’s final three bedrooms are a few steps apart in compound called the Cottage, which is like a separate, miniature version of the main villa. These rooms share their own heated swimming pool, living area, and kitchen. Two of the rooms are on opposite sides of this shared area, and the third is in its own bungalow and is also more suitable for a staff member.
