Very cute vintage hotel in a small Colorado town. Reasonable price as well

We had a very pleasant stay. The room is in antique setup, but met our expectation. The breakfast was really good, really enjoy there. If are looking for TV etc. , this is not for you.

Very clean room and bathroom. Only thing with me is the elevation of the hotel that is 10,000 feet high. We didn't realize the place was at that much high elevation...
I have Afib, so, we had to hurry to leave the hotel next morning. Must visit the sunroom with very old plants still blooming beautifully!

We had a great time, a very old building, so when you absorb and account for that, most excellent and historic spot with great, friendly, pet-loving people.

We were really nervous driving in the dark to get to the hotel and then we got a phone call from the hotel letting us know how to check in when we arrived and that really eased our nerves and her voice was very calming and kind so we felt safe and like someone was waiting for us to make sure we were okay when we arrived we would know what to do. There is a sweet breakfast area with a view of the water outside. The main room is cozy and calm. The hotel is located right in the middle of town so everything is easy access and walkable.

History and character are important to us. Great, friendly, informative staff. Good breakfast and coffee. Renovated hotel retained a good vibe of old fashioned style. Located short walk from amazing river and old town. Good spirits and shopping local. Wonderful plants. if you’re expecting chain hotel, this place is not for you, and you don’t belong here. Already planning a return visit.

This is a unique old time hotel with lots of interesting history but all the modern comforts. We loved it and will definitely visit again.
