Tolles Frühstück, tolle Unterkunft.

Es war ein Super Frühstück. Es fehlte an nichts.Durfte auch Lunch Paket für die Wanderung mitnehmen.

Die Ausstattung entspricht dem Namen entsprechend alt aber sauber und nicht wie gewohnt komfortabel. Das haben die Besitzer mit ihrer Freunlichkeit wett gemacht 👍🥰

Claus and partner were kind and attentive. The breakfast was excellent.

We spent 32 nights in Germany. This property was by far our least favorite and was the most expensive. 1- The room I and my wife stayed in was decorated with 'Gay Art'. There were gay pornographic pictures on the walls and in the drawers. I and my wife were very uncomfortable with the selection of art. I am not concerned with the hosts lifestyle. In fact, I appreciated Claus and his partners attentiveness. However, a rented room should be decorated in a neutral fashion. Gay art and porn is not acceptable. I have attached photos of some of the pictures that were in the room. 2- The room we were in was less than 100 feet from very busy railroad tracks. The tracks were elevated so they were level with our bedroom window. The room had no air conditioning so the windows had to be open. Trains went by every 5 minutes or so. First one way and then the next. Loud noise all night. A pair of ear plugs was provided on the nightstand. I tried them but they gave me a headache. Rather than providing a pair of ear plugs, this undesirable feature needs to be disclosed in the advertising. We got no sleep. 3- The mattress was about 6 inches thick. It felt like a mat rather than a mattress. It was the most uncomfortable mattress we slept on during our 32 nights in Germany. 4- There are a lot of stairs leading to the building. This should have been disclosed in the advertising. I am handicapped and negotiating the stairs with luggage was a challenge. Claus, the host, did offer to help. 5- The shower changed from hot to cold water every few seconds. No consistent temperature. This didn't bother me so much, but it really was uncomfortable for my wife.

Welcome, atmosphere and attention for details

The breakfast was classic and very nice! The service was excellent, very polite and personal. When we found out that our car had no power on the battery in the morning, the host quickly helped us jump start it with his own car! What a star!

Location and breakfast were great. Friendly and helpful owner. Cool eclectic vibe.

My room was the first room inside the door so it was loud. People coming and going and talking in the hallway since the entrance is more like a house. Still, this could be remedied by just adding a sign asking people to whisper between 10pm and 8am. Bathroom is very small and has a medicine cabinet over sink that you had to open to be able to brush your teeth (so you could lean over the sink and spit).

A wonderful gem of a "B &B" in a magical part of Germany . We were able to enjoy a fantastic breakfast and our very freindly hosts gave us great tips regarding resturants and places to see.
